Beyoncé's Instagram followers are aflutter over her latest obsession: glitchy, gif-like selfies, sometimes accompanied by music.
Here's an example:
A few Beyoncé super fans have cracked the code and learned that Beyoncé is using an app called Phhhoto to make the individual selfies. You can totally copy her and make your own moving selfies within the app, then use their tool to post it to Instagram.
If you don't want a Phhhoto logo to show up, though, here's a workaround: save the Phhhoto file to your camera roll and upload it to Instagram that way, instead of using Phhhoto's Instagram button.
Using Phhhoto is fairly straightforward. Here's what a few Beyoncé copycats have managed to come up with:
But still, these posts are a far cry from Bey's half-a-minute-long, musically accompanied Phhhoto montages that feature multiple shots. How is she creating those?
The answer is Flipagram. A selfie sleuth friend of mine has mined Beyoncé's Instagram comments and gleaned from the queen's fans themselves that the best way to approximate Beyoncé's glitchy selfie montages is by using both Phhhoto and Flipagram.
Just download Flipagram in the App Store and follow the prompts. But first, make sure that all the Phhhotos you want to use are saved as video files on your iPhone's camera roll.
Then, you'll be able to add a bunch of them, edit them for time and order, and add a 30-second preview of your favorite song, if it's available. From there, save the Flipagram file and upload it to Instagram.
After seeing the Brooklyn United Marching Band performing in Madison Square Park this afternoon, I was inspired to make a Phhhoto-Flipagram hybrid of my own. Here's how it looks on Flipagram's platform.
The band was playing "Uptown Funk" when these photos were taken, but that song isn't available on Flipagram. I substituted Marvin Gaye's "Got to Give It Up," which is hardly a downgrade.
If you have enough storage space on your phone, your Flipagram videos will save automatically on your camera roll. From there, you can upload them to Instagram:
The app was buggy for me, though, and it wouldn't let me post directly to Instagram. My friend showed me a workaround: send the video to yourself as a file via text message, then save it to your camera roll from there.
Again, if you don't have a lot of storage on your phone, this workaround might not be for you. But if it does, you'll be able to post the Flipagram file on Instagram as if it were a regular video.
Now, what about getting rid of that pesky Flipagram logo? My source tells me that all you have to do is pay $1.99 for the "Change Watermark Forever" option, within the app's Settings menu.
If you're willing to part with two bucks in the name of logo-free selfies, click that, and you can either leave the watermark blank or type in your own name or a favorite phrase.
Upload your chic, logo-free video to Instagram, and watch the likes pour in. That's the last step for making video selfies that are just like Beyoncé's.

David Letterman hosted his final "Late Show" Wednesday night.
After entering the stage to a standing ovation, Letterman urged people to "please be seated" so he could deliver his last monologue.
He opened by joking: "I’ll be honest with you -- it’s beginning to look like I’m not gonna get 'The Tonight Show.'"
Letterman then said it has been annoying to constantly be asked what he's going to do now that he's retired.
"Want to know what I'm going to do? By god, I hope to become the new face of Scientology," Letterman quipped.
"Don't kid yourselves, emotions are running high in this building," he continued. "Here's a video of the goodbye statement to staff that took place earlier today,"he said before showing a clip of himself blowing a kiss to staffers via hologram.
"Paul and I have been doing this show for 33 years, that's 6,028 shows," Letterman said on a seemingly serious note, before joking: Earlier today we got a call from Stephen Hawking, he ran the numbers because he's a genius. He said it makes out to be about eight minutes of laughter."
Letterman continued with the jokes. "Time gets away from you," he said. "When we started this program the hottest show on television was 'Keeping Up with the Gabors.'
The worst thing about not having his own show? "When I screw up now I have to go on somebody else's show to apologize."
"Do you remember Elian Gonzalez?" Letterman continued. "The kid is 21-years-old and yesterday he announced that he wants to come back to America. Now my question to you is, should I take this personally?"
Letterman later called bandleader Paul Schaefer his best friend, but told fans not to worry because the two aren't done in the entertainment 'biz just yet.
"We are going to continue on in show business. Next month in June, Paul and I will be debuting our new act with white tigers," he joked.
Letterman also showed two video tributes from Fox’s "The Simpsons" and later "Wheel of Fortune."
Developing... stay tuned for video.

On David Letterman's farewell to CBS's "Late Show" on Wednesday, the 33-year late-night veteran joked that he would devote the rest of his life to "social media."
As late-night TV depends more and more on creating viral moments, Letterman has said that that was one of the reasons he knew it was time to leave the "Late Show."
The lack of ability to create viral videos is "a weakness of the show," Letterman said in May's Rolling Stone cover interview. "I hear about things going viral and I think, 'How do you do that?' I think I'm the blockage in the plumbing."
Letterman wasn't just being highly critical of himself. There are actual numbers to prove it.
Amobee Brand Intelligence — a company that provides marketing insight and measures real-time content consumption across the internet, social media, and mobile — looked at digital consumption around all the late-night hosts for a year starting April 2014 to April 2015.
The results confirmed that the changing landscape for late-night formats and viral video creation wasn't moving in Letterman's favor.
Despite a high level of awareness that the last year was Letterman’s swan song year, Fallon, Kimmel, Jon Stewart, and Stephen Colbert all had more consumption than the departing CBS host. In fact, Letterman generated only 29% as much digital consumption as Fallon.
With less and less people watching late-night talk shows live, the shows have moved toward bits that can get shared online the next day.
Younger hosts are doing the literal song and dance to create viral moments, which isn't Letterman's style.
Amobee offers up the following example: When Letterman announced he would be leaving late-night in April 2014, he only generated 52% of the digital consumption Stewart's decision to leave Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" received about 10 months earlier.
"If you look around at the other people doing it and look at me, it's almost like a pair of shoes you haven't worn in a hundred years," Letterman told Rolling Stone. "'Gee, I think we can probably get rid of these.' I still enjoy what I'm doing, but I think what I'm doing is not what you want at 11:30 anymore."
Letterman certainly had his own success with innovative sketches gone viral. We've all clicked on a video of Letterman's "Stupid Pet Tricks" and "Top Ten Lists," among other great segments. But, he's probably right about not fitting the variety-show-like model late-night programs have moved toward.
With all that behind Letterman now, Colbert will have to step up to the viral video competition when he takes over the "Late Show" on Sept. 8.

NOW WATCH: Jimmy Fallon's new lip sync show looks hilarious
With only one month left until the highly-anticipated "Batman: Arkham Knight" video game is released, the hype machine is in full swing with an unusual new ad that encourages everyday people to heed the call of their marketing slogan and "be the Batman."
It's a weird ad, mostly because it barely features anything relevant to the actual game, and because it seems to want its perceived (read: male) audience to actually embrace vigilantism.
The live-action ad features actors playing everyday people in tough situations: an injured basketball player, a man witnessing an incident of subway harassment, a firefighter in front of a blaze, and a man accosted by muggers in a rainy alley. It then has a call to action: "Be selfless. Be determined. Be courageous. Be Feared. Be the Batman."
In real life, it's probably a good idea to be maybe three of those things.

Emma Stone and Bradley Cooper might be coming to a dating app near you!
Costars from upcoming film "Aloha," Cooper and Stone are happy to let you know that their chemistry is alive and well, on and off-screen.
So alive, in fact, that the duo has offered to write Tinder profiles for each other. Both stars seem particularly taken with the other's eyes, reports Perez Hilton.
Here's what Cooper had to say about Stone. Imagine swiping right and left a few times before coming across this:
"[Her] reptilian eyes take you into a kind place, soft and lovely and full of grace."
Similarly, Stone followed up with her own take about Cooper:
"Look at those blue [eyes]. He's into Chinese food, but he's equally into making you smile."
While neither of the actors are on Tinder yet (unlike some Hollywood stars like Hilary Duff), Stone admits to having used the app for one of her friends. "My friend is [on Tinder], and I've swiped for her. That was a good time." said Stone.
We can only hope that both Cooper and Stone will download the app soon, giving the rest of us a chance to gaze longingly into their eyes and swipe right.

What a fantastic job Marvel has done in recreating Daredevil for the small screen. The cinematography and fight choreography are unparalleled to other Marvel properties that have come to television thus far. With this first episode of Daredevil, Marvel has clearly foreshadowed what to expect from the future of its Defenders line-up. Murdock's swift punches, silent movements, and constant awareness of his environment showcases the physical brutality of the "powerless" Daredevil. Further, the quality of the storytelling draws this viewer in beyond the action scenes. Charlie Cox's charisma and banter with Foggy Nelson contrasted against the serious tones underlying Kingpin's diverse mob network delivers a stellar crime drama with heartfelt humor. An excellent start to Marvel's expansion into the Defenders mythos and the NF community.

I'm 51. Believe it or not, I used to be a 10 year old boy. When I got my allowance, I'd buy comics. They were 20 cents then. Now, I work, I sleep, I get up and do it again. Not a lot of fun really. But, for the past few days, I've had a ton a fun. I laughed, cried, cheered, cursed, I even jumped out of my chair once. Yeah. For the past few days...I was 10 again.

Eight months after their Venice nuptials, George Clooney has spilled the beans on how he popped the question to Amal Alamuddin.
This Tuesday, during an appearance on "CBS This Morning," Clooney spoke with Charlie Rose about his new bride while touring the observatory at One World Trade Center.
"I knew fairly quickly that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Amal," he started. "But I have to say, when I asked her, we'd never talked about it ... There wasn't like, 'Maybe we should get married?' I literally dropped it on her."
When it came time to get on one knee, the longtime bachelor kept things simple and classic, proposing at home to a very personal soundtrack. "I queued up a playlist of some of my aunt Rosemary's songs and I asked her," he said softly.
Apparently the proposal was so unexpected that Amal just kept saying, "Oh my God," and "Wow," rather than giving an answer.
Said Clooney, "Finally I just said, listen, I'm [52] and I've been on my knee now for about 28 minutes so I've got to get an answer out of this ... I may not be able to stand back up."
Romance and a laugh. We'd expect nothing less.

NOW WATCH: There’s a strange new live-action trailer for the next Batman game we've been waiting years for
Even with an 18-year age difference, Maggie Gyllenhaal was told she was simply "too old" to play the love interest of a man aged 55.
Gyllenhaal is 37.
In an exclusive interview with The Wrap, Academy Award-winning Gyllenhaal says she was angry before she just decided to laugh it off; a nod to the culture of Hollywood that's placed major value on youth.
“There are things that are really disappointing about being an actress in Hollywood that surprise me all the time,” she said of that conversation.
She declined to name the male star and the producer in question.
Women have long been discriminated against in the film business, so the slam against "The Honourable Woman" star comes as no surprise to those who've been following along.
At the Cannes film festival earlier this week, the makers of drug-war thriller Sicario revealed they had at one stage been under pressure from producers to rewrite the lead role, a female FBI agent played by Emily Blunt, to make the character male. And research last year found that only 22% of crew members involved in making 2,000 of the biggest-grossing films over the past 20 years were female.
And in early May, the American Civil Liberties Union cracked the whip on Hollywood's biggest production hubs, demanding the state "investigate why major studio regularly fail to hire aspiring and seasoned female directors for movies, citing 'rampant discrimination' in the industry."
Gyllenhaal seems to be onboard with that.
“A lot of actresses are doing incredible work right now, playing real women, complicated women,” she said, adding that she hopes there are even better and more "fascinating" roles waiting for her.

Conan O'Brien paid tribute to David Letterman on Tuesday night ahead of the veteran host's final show on Wednesday.
O'Brien said Letterman has "been the north star for me and every comic of my generation" and told a fascinating personal story about how Dave once saved his career.
"What I wanted to talk about tonight, briefly, is something incredible that Dave did for me almost 22 years ago," O'Brien began. "Something that had a profound impact on my life."
"Some of you may be too young to know this, but way back in 1993, I took over David Letterman's iconic 'Late Night' television show."
"I was a complete unknown, with absolutely no experience performing on television. I was utterly and totally unprepared for that enormous job," O'Brien explains. "I don't even think anything like that could happen today. We can check people out on YouTube today, but then, I was a complete unknown and totally unprepared."
"After going on the air in September 1993, I got the s--- kicked out me," he continued. "Critics despised me; the ratings were bad; my skin broke out — which it hadn't done since high school and then again at this crucial time. And my network started to make it clear that I probably wouldn't be around for very long. I honestly have no ill will about that time, because by and large people were right. I'm serious; I was in way over my head."
"The conventional wisdom was that everybody thought I should be cancelled. And then something miraculous happened," says the now 52-year-old. "After four dreary months, out of the blue, we got a message at the show that David Letterman wanted to come on the program as a guest."
"Now understand, Dave wasn't just the biggest late-night star at the time, he was the biggest thing on television. He didn't go on other people's shows. It was like The Beatles asking Maury Povich if they could stop by and sing a couple of tunes."
"It was that absurd! And at the time, I was convinced it was a prank. I didn't think it could be real," said O'Brien.
"But on February 28, 1994, David Letterman walked onto my set and blew the doors off the place. It’s easily one of the happiest nights of my professional life."
"True story, after that one night, that one appearance, everything turned around for me," claims O'Brien, who now has his own TBS late-night show.
"The morale of the staff shot through the ceiling; my producer, writers, Andy, we all thought that if David Letterman can come on our show and say a few kind words, then maybe, just maybe, we can earn the right to be here."
"And we survived."
"So, the point behind all of this is that I just want you to know, that if you have ever liked any silly or stupid thing I’ve done on television over the past 20 years, you must know that it probably never would have happened if it weren’t for Dave."
"At one of the lowest points of my life, when I was a 30-year-old national punch line, Dave, for reasons I still don’t really understand — completely rescued me."
"I still believe that that simple act of kindness turned everything around and made all the difference."

In director Brad Bird’s stunning “Tomorrowland” (opening Friday) we are thrust into a futuristic world that’s a playground for those with big ideas.
This magical place is the brainchild of one of the biggest idea men ever, Walt Disney. In 1955 he unveiled the Tomorrowland theme land in his Disney theme parks, which depicted views of the future. 60 years later those ideas have been expanded by the marvels at Industrial Light & Magic.
The visual effects studio created by George Lucas to achieve the special effects feats for his "Star Wars" saga and has since made the impossible possible on everything from "Jurassic Park" to the recent blockbusters from Marvel, were tasked in 2013 to convert Disney’s theme land to an eye-popping futuristic world for the screen.
“There were many, many ideas originally,” “Tomorrowland” co-visual effects supervisor Eddie Pasquarello told Business Insider. “If you see the different iterations you would see the theme park in the '70s, it ran the gamut. Even while making the visual effects for the film, the look of 'Tomorrowland' didn’t get locked until half way through our post production process.”
The look that was finally decided is a sleek city with pointy skyscrapers and filled with people flying on jet packs, rockets launching in the distance, swimmers diving down bottomless floating swimming pools, and monorail tracks weaved throughout it. Oh, and if you look hard enough during the movie you’ll see Space Mountain, the theme land’s flagship ride, tucked away in the city.
“It wasn’t just a wink to the theme park,” Pasquarello notes, “it’s one of the best designed buildings in the Tomorrowland park.”
ILM spent two-and-a-half years on the film and produced 1,037 effects shots with a staff of close to 200 split between their San Francisco and Vancouver offices.
Most of the effects done for the Tomorrowland world were almost completely computer-generated, though some were done with stationary pieces that the actors stood on during shooting in Vancouver and Valencia, Spain.
Pasquarello said the biggest challenge ILM took on was creating the experience Britt Robertson’s character, Casey, has when she first visits Tomorrowland.
In the film, Casey and Frank (George Clooney) are optimistic dreamers who have visited Tomorrowland and are determined to return. Frank first visited as a young boy, who found his way there when he was at the 1964 World's Fair in New York. Casey's initial visit happens after she finds a special pin that gives her a glimpse of the world when she touches it. In a four-minute sequence that’s one continuous shot, we follow Casey as she marvels over the world.
“Making that feel like one big long shot was a huge undertaking,” said Pasquarello. “It was like a movie within a movie.”
The sequence was broken down into four parts and taken on by a team of 30 people total.
“The challenge was seaming into one shot all of the stationary pieces together [with the computer graphics],” Pasquarello explained.
To give an example, Pasquarello said a shot of Robertson on a sound stage in Vancouver would become her riding a monorail in the sequence. ILM would then have to sync that shot seamlessly with a shot of her standing at a stationary piece in Spain, which after they were done with it would become a section of the sequence where she's standing on a rocket-launch platform.
Pasquarello says out of all the FX shots ILM did for the movie that sequence was the most rewarding when watching the finished film.
“Seeing everything put together to work, I just smiled watching it all,” he said.

June is fast approaching, so that means there will be a slew of new movies and TV shows heading to Netflix.

Check out everything coming to Netflix in June.
"Sense8" (available6/5)

Now you will finally get a chance to catch up on one of the best films of 2014, which features Jake Gyllenhaal as a wildly ambitious but morally twisted man trying to break into L.A. crime journalism. NOW WATCH: The trailer for the Wachowskis' mind-bending new Netflix series 'Sense8' has a lot of 'Matrix' in it
Tess Holliday appears on the current cover of People magazine's annual body issue, being celebrated as "The World's First Size 22 Supermodel."
The 29-year-old has had a big year, becoming one of the top plus-size models in the world after landing a contract in January with the U.K.’s Milk Modeling agency.
In March, Holliday made news for posing without Photoshop in new ads for retailer Torrid, a fashion line for sizes 12 to 28.
She's also a proud swimsuit model who is working to change beauty standards.
And she has a giant social media following.
If you aren't familiar with People magazine's most recent cover star, here's everything you need to know:
1. Tess Holliday is a social media star.
The model boasts over 903,000 Facebook fans and over 724,000 Instagram followers. Holliday's growing fan base is also, in part, to thank for her new modeling contract.
"I started following her [on social media], and saw how many followers she had. More than most models," Anna Shillinglaw, owner and director of MiLk Model Management, told NY Daily News. "She's such an important role model for so many women."
In 2013, Holliday started her #effyourbeautystandards movement on Instagram, encouring people to embrace body types of all shapes and sizes.
The hashtag has gained serious traction, currently with hundreds of thousand of posts:
2. Her size is unprecedented in the modeling world.
Plus-size agency models are generally taller than 5 feet 8 inches and U.S. size 8 to 16. At 5-feet-5 and size 22, the 29-year-old Mississippi native is the largest model repped by Milk.
"I think we're the only agency with a model of her size," Milk Agency's Shillinglaw told NY Daily News. "She is by far the largest model I have in the (Curves) division."
Tess is the largest plus-size model to be signed to a mainstream modeling agency.
3. She has tons of tattoos.
Holliday's ink includes: a Miss Piggy tattoo on her right outer forearm, a Mae West tattoo on her right inner forearm, a Marilyn Monroe tattoo on her left bicep, a plus-size mermaid tattoo on her right upper thigh and a Hello Kitty tattoo on her right calf.
Her latest ink is a giant portrait of Dolly Parton:
4. In 2011, Holliday was chosen as the face of A&E documentary, "Heavy."
Holliday didn't appear on the show, so she felt conflicted about representing it, telling plusmodelmag:
It's a show about morbidly obese people. I didn't know what the show was about. I didn't know what angle they were going in. I'm obviously proud to represent everyone on the show. I know some of them personally now by being the face of the show that changed their lives. I feel like a cheerleader. At the same time, it's hard for me because I'm not morbidly obese--although I am overweight, but I'm not at the point that they are. I don't have a health condition and I'm not going to die if I don't lose weight. I just happen to be curvy.
5. In 2013, Vogue Italia named the self-described "body positive activist" one of the top six plus-size models in the world.
6. By 2014, Holliday had accomplished many of her modeling goals.
"I think I finally hit that moment where I accomplished everything that I dreamed of as a child," Holliday told Parade magazine at the time. "I thought: 'I’m on billboards now. David LaChapelle has photographed me.'"
She also teamed up with Benefit Cosmetics.
7. In January, she became one of the top plus-size models in the world after landing a contact in January with the U.K.’s Milk Modeling agency.
8. Since then, she has been making TV appearances.
And has been featured in magazines.
9. She is featured in the ads for plus-size swimwear line, Monif C.
10. And is the face of plus-size clothing brand, Torrid, in these un-retouched ads.
She's basically gone viral.
11. But before Holliday was a top plus-size model, she dropped out of school at age 17.
Growing up in a small town in Mississippi, the now 29-year-old was severely bullied for her weight while in school.
After earning her GED, Holliday moved to Seattle, where she became the head makeup artist, hair stylist, and creative director for numerous fashion shows.
In 2010, she moved to L.A. and became a professional full-time model.
12. She used to go by the name Tess Munster, but changed it to Tess Holliday after getting engaged to Australian businessman Nick Holliday in July 2014.
"Everyday I feel incredibly grateful for the love I have, but today even more so. I cannot wait to be his wife. #tessmunster #nickholliday #mushystuff"
13. At age 20, she had a son named Rilee.
14. Holliday is proud of her body and encourages others to feel the same.
Today I personally overcame my fears of bikinis that weren't high waisted. My tummy is an area that I'm still learning to love- even though I appreciate everything it has done for me. It's round & covered in stretch marks from carrying my beautiful son in it. My fiancé loves it & constantly touches it & because of those reasons I recently decided to be kinder to it. With every other area of my body- learning to love it has been faking it until I actually accepted. The misconception about myself & many other fat/plus sized women is that we are this way because we don't care, that we have "let ourselves go" when in reality this is the best I've ever felt/looked. But I couldn't have gotten there on yo yo diets, trying to be someone I'm not, & bullying myself to fit into an unrealistic mold of beauty. I have carved my own path & will continue to do so... #effyourbeautystandards

Neville Longbottom is all grown up and JK Rowling has something to say about it.
Actor Matthew Lewis is best known for his portrayal of Gryffindor dork Neville Longbottom in the "Harry Potter" movies. The much-beloved character was babied by his grandmother and terrified of potions-master Professor Snape.
But in this month's cover feature for Attitude Magazine, Lewis seems like a different person. Although his character was the most awkward boy in his year, Lewis himself has blossomed into a buff young man who isn't shy about taking his shirt off.
Still, he told Attitude, "I’ve never considered myself to be good-looking at all. Just average."
However average Lewis may believe he looks, the internet thinks otherwise. Social media outlets are buzzing with the photos and everyone is weighing in on them — even "Harry Potter" author JK Rowling.
In response to the photos, Rowling admonished Lewis via Twitter:
.@Mattdavelewis Not as bad as watching Dan in Equus, but close. Warn me next time, for God's sake. https://t.co/r8EUd1GKqT
— J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) May 21, 2015
Lewis responded with an apology, which Rowling accepted:
.@Mattdavelewis I will always support you whatever you want to do, Matthew. Now go put some clothes on.
— J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) May 21, 2015
Rounding out the online repartee, here's a tweet from Jason Isaacs, a.k.a. Lucius Malfoy:
.@jasonsfolly@Mattdavelewis I wouldn't know. I hastily averted my eyes and read an article on Political Correctness to get over the shock.

Although electronics were known to malfunction at Hogwarts, it looks like the wizarding community is flourishing on Twitter.
Here are a few more photos of what the actor formerly known as Neville Longbottom looks like today.

Go shorty, it's your birthday. Democratic Party like it's your birthday.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton just secured a crucial endorsement for her 2016 presidential campaign — rapper 50 Cent.
50 Cent gushed about Clinton's candidacy in an interview with the Daily Beast that was published Thursday.
"It’s Hillary time!" he declared.
In addition to Clinton's policies, 50 Cent praised her experience as a former first lady.
"I also think Hillary was the president already once. You know what I’m saying? Some of the things she says feel really comfortable, and roll off," 50 Cent explained. "When people are really close with each other, they use each other as soundboards because they’re the other person’s best friend."
50 Cent also expressed admiration for Clinton's decision to stay with her husband, former President Bill Clinton, after his affair with Monica Lewinsky was revealed.
"It made that love between her and Bill real to me," he said.
Clinton has been dominating the rapper demographic. Both Ja Rule and Snoop Dogg have also endorsed her White House bid.
News of 50 Cent's endorsement clearly excited staffers at Clinton's campaign headquarters in Brooklyn, New York.
"This is fantastic news," said a source partying like it's his birthday in Brooklyn. "How fitting that 50 Cent decided to make his endorsement during small business week, he owns a candy shop if I'm not mistaken."
