3 New Cosby Accusers Want A $100 Million Fund Set Up For Alleged Victims

Three more women have come forward accusing Bill Cosby of sexual assault during a press conference Wednesday in Los Angeles.

Beth Ferrier and a woman by the name of Chelan recalled similar accounts of allegedly being drugged and raped by Cosby, according to The Hollywood Reporter

Another woman, Helen Hayes, claimed she was sexually harrassed by the comedian in the 1970s.

High-profile attorney Gloria Allred is representing the three women. Variety reports Allred challenged Cosby to waive the statue of limitations and go to trial. Otherwise, Allred asked that the comedian set up a $100 million dollar fund for the victims to settle.

Both Ferrier and Chelan claimed to be aspiring actresses and models taken advantage of by Cosby.

Chelan claims she blacked out after Cosby gave her a blue pill at the age of 17.

"13 to 16 hours later I woke up by hearing Mr. Cosby clapping his hands and saying, 'Daddy says wake up.' He gave me $1,500,” she said.

Ferrier says she was drugged and assaulted during an affair that went on for "several months" in the 1980s.

Ferrier previously came forward telling her story to the National Enquirer after passing a lie detector test. The story never ran after the publication struck a deal with Cosby to not run the piece in exchange for an interview with the comedian.

At the time, Cosby was involved in a 2005 lawsuit with another woman, Andrea Constrand, who accused him of sexual assault. Cosby agreed to speak with the National Enquirer about Constrand’s accusations. Ferrier was referenced in the lawsuit as a Jane Doe.

The third woman, Hayes, claims she met Cosby at Clint Eastwood’s Celebrity Tennis Tournament in Pebble Beach, Calif. in 1973. She claims Cosby followed her and her two friends all day before approaching her and grabbing her breast.

Lady Gaga Just Revealed That She Was Raped As A Teenager

US singer Lady Gaga attends a basketball match between Alba Berlin and the San Antonio Spurs, on October 8, 2014 in Berlin

New York (AFP) - Lady Gaga has revealed that she was raped as a teenager and said that it took her years of therapy to acknowledge and start to recover from the trauma.

"I don't want to be defined by it," the pop star said. "I'll be damned if somebody is going to say that every creatively intelligent thing I ever did is all boiled down to one dickhead that did that to me."

Lady Gaga, 28, said that the rape took place when she was 19 and that she has gone through years of therapy. She did not go into detail but said that the aggressor was 20 years older than her.

"It happens every day. It's really scary and it's sad and it didn't affect me as much right after as it did about four or five years later," she told radio host Howard Stern.

"I didn't tell anybody -- I didn't even tell myself for the longest time," she said. "Then I was like, you know what, all this drinking and all this nonsense, you have to go to the source, otherwise it won't go away."

The singer, who later became known for her gaudy outfits and outspoken social commentary, said that she did not report the rape. She said she saw her aggressor once more when she ran into him at a store and that she became "paralyzed by fear."

Lady Gaga revealed the rape as she discussed her song "Swine" from her 2013 album "Artpop." She performed the song at this year's South by Southwest festival, where she rode a mechanical bull in a suggestive fashion and had a collaborator vomit on her.

"The song is about rape. This song is about demoralisation," Lady Gaga said in her radio interview Tuesday.

"I want this chick to throw up on me in front of the world, so that I can tell them, you know what? You could never, ever degrade me as much as I could degrade myself and look how beautiful it is what I do."

North Korea Denies Involvement In The Sony Hack

north korea kim jong un

North Korea has officially denied that it was involved in the massive hack of Sony Pictures Entertainment, one of Hollywood's biggest studios, according to Voice of America.

When a government spokesman was initially asked about the hack, he refused to deny North Korea's involvement, saying "wait and see."

But a North Korean diplomat in New York told Voice of America on Wednesday that the country had nothing to do with the hack, according to the news service.

The anonymous official said: "Linking the DPRK to the Sony hacking is another fabrication targeting the country. My country publicly declared that it would follow international norms banning hacking and piracy."

Although North Korea has officially denied involvement, the hack might have been carried out be third parties in China who are working on North Korea's behalf. Re/code reported last week that Sony and security consultants are investigating that theory, and Sony said Wednesday that the company thinks North Korea is responsible for the hack.

The new Seth Rogen and James Franco film "The Interview," a comedy about two men sent on a mission to assassinate North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, is believed to be why the hack took place, since North Korea previously sought to stop Sony from releasing the film.

The size and scope of the recent hack of Sony Pictures is unprecedented for a major US company. Hackers shut down Sony's systems and then released an estimated 11 terabytes of data.

Data released in the hack includes employee salaries, disciplinary records, performance reviews, and films that have not yet been released in theaters.

Aston Martin DB10 James Bond

Daniel Craig's James Bond will once again drive an Aston Martin in the film franchise's 24th installment, titled "Spectre."

Designated the "DB10," the new Aston was designed with input with the film's director, Sam Mendes, specifically for Bond.

“In the same year that we celebrate our 50-year relationship with 007, it seems doubly fitting that today we unveiled this wonderful new sports car created especially for James Bond," said Aston Martin CEO Dr. Andy Palmer in a statement.

"To be partnering once again with EON Productions is great news for this company and for everyone around the world that loves to see Bond at the wheel of an Aston Martin."

Sadly, the DB10 is currently not slated for a customer production run. The 10 vehicles produced were commissioned exclusively for the film.

Aston Martin has yet to announce any detailed technical information related to 007's new ride, but it's safe to assume that it will be apocalyptically expensive and will likely be powered by one of the company's roaring V8 or V12 engines.

21 Video Games We Can't Wait To Play In 2015

$

No Man's SkyIt's the final month of 2014, and while it's been an incredible year for video games, 2015 looks even brighter.

The PS4 and Xbox One are both settling into their second years on the market, and the maturing Wii U is finally ramping up its own titles, too. There are blockbusters, indie games, adventures, and even some horror games you'll need to play with the lights on. The next year in video games will have a little bit of everything.

We've already fawned upon the best video games that are already out; now it's time to peek into the future.

"Inside"

The Xbox One is scant on exclusive games, but this title, from the makers of "Limbo," looks like a doozy. We don't know much about "Inside" just yet, but it will have a similar post-apocalyptic feel as "Limbo," taking place in a creepy world where people are basically drones.

Platforms: Xbox One

Release date: TBA 2015

"Bloodborne"

The Xbox One isn't the only console with exclusives. "Bloodborne," which will be released for the PS4 in March, is an action role-playing game from the people behind the "Dark Souls" series.

The game takes place in an ancient mythical city, Yharnam, which many believe holds secret remedies to many afflictions. You play as a traveler to the city, but soon discover that it's plagued by an endemic sickness that's turned many of the residents into monsters.

Platforms: PlayStation 4

Release date: Feb. 6, 2015

"Splatoon"

"Splatoon" is an upcoming Wii U game that seems like a lot of fun, and a little bit strange. Players take on the form of a squid that can transform into a human. The goal of this third-person shooter is to mark your turf with ink. The best part, though, is that in addition to a co-op mode, it includes a single-player campaign, which is a nice change of pace from Nintendo, which banks on its party games (like "Mario Kart" and "Super Smash Bros.") as its bread and butter.

Got all that?

Entertainment Weekly reported the film will rewrite the movie's history by showing Connor's character raised by Schwarzenegger's Terminator from a young age

Thousands Of Leaked Sony Passwords Were Reportedly Kept In A Folder Marked 'Password'

Michael Lynton Sony

Hackers leaked more Sony documents Wednesday afternoon, and thousands of "clearly labeled" computer, financial, and social media usernames and passwords were exposed, BuzzFeed News reports.

The exposed Sony passwords were included in a file directory called "Password." The directory held 139 Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, zip files, and PDFs containing thousands of passwords to Sony Pictures’ internal computers, social media accounts, and web services accounts.

Most of the files are plainly labeled with titles like “password list.xls” or “YouTube login passwords.xlsx," according to BuzzFeed News' report.

Besides passwords for the social media accounts of Sony movies like "The Social Network," the passwords of Sony's corporate and research services, passwords to servers and data services, Sony's story department's passwords for Amazon and FedEx, and even personal passwords for places like Google and American Express that apparently were not related to Sony's corporate side.

BuzzFeed News notes that most passwords were "simple combinations of obvious nouns and numbers."

Four of Sony's upcoming movies were leaked this week, and a cyberattack shut down Sony's entire computer network.

A spreadsheet that listed Sony's 17 highest-paid executives and their salaries was also leaked. Leaked documents revealed Hannah Minghella, co-president of production at Sony's Columbia Pictures division, makes $800,000 less per year than her male counterpart, Columbia Pictures co-president of production Michael De Luca.

The FBI has launched an investigation into the hacks with Sony's support.

"The FBI is working with our interagency partners to investigate the recently reported cyber-intrusion at Sony Pictures Entertainment," the FBI said in an emailed statement to Variety. "The targeting of public and private sector computer networks remains a significant threat, and the FBI will continue to identify, pursue and defeat individuals and groups who pose a threat in cyberspace."

This Huge New Group Wants To Kill The Comcast-Time Warner Cable Merger Once And For All

$

Comcast vanA new group called StopMegaComcast is out to stop Comcast’s $45 billion deal to purchase Time Warner Cable, which was announced in February.

The StopMegaComcast coalition, which was officially announced on Wednesday, is made up of 15 groups that have previously come out against the deal.

Members include Comcast competitor Dish Network, as well as interest groups like The Consumer Federation Of America and the Parents Television Council.

StopMegaComcast tries to spell out exactly how big Comcast would be were it to succeed in its acquisition bid. The group asserts that Comcast would “control 50% of the high-speed broadband market,” and thus “serve as the gatekeeper of the Internet.” It would also control 44% of all regional sports networks and 20-plus cable channels, as well as NBC-Universal, which is owned by Comcast.

“Those who want their content to flow quickly and freely will have to submit to Mega Comcast’s terms,” the coalition says on its website. “Those that compete with Mega Comcast or refuse its demands could be slowed down or shut out. Mega Comcast would have the power and the incentive to increase their prices at the expense of consumers, content creators and innovation.”

The group also claims Comcast and Time Warner combined would “reach more than 91% of Latino households,” effectively controlling the programming in those markets and communities, and it would also seize 71% of the local advertising market, which the group claims is critical for small businesses.

In all, StopMegaComcast says Comcast and TWC — which would have substantial control in the broadband, pay-TV, set-top box and local ad markets — would raise prices and costs for consumers, small businesses, and content creators.

Comcast, for its part, has long argued that a merger would have an opposite effect. Here’s what a Comcast spokeswoman had to say:

Hundreds of community organizations, programmers, lawmakers and diversity groups have praised the pro-consumer benefits of this transaction. It is no secret that some companies that want billions of dollars in higher fees for consumers are paying lobbying firms to organize against this transaction.

But many companies, particularly those represented by StopMegaComcast, believe a deal would indeed be bad for consumers, and they don’t believe it can be easily fixed with a Band-Aid. Jeffrey Blum, deputy general counsel for Dish Network, told Re/code in July that all possible merger conditions “are inadequate.”

“The breadth and detail of the opposition is significant,” Blum said.

If you want an idea of how “substantial” the opposition to this merger is, check out StopMegaComcast’s full list of congresspeople, consumer advocates, telecom organizations, and academics that have expressed concern over the Comcast-Time Warner Cable acquisition.

The Sony Hack Is A Watershed Moment — Especially If North Korea Is Involved

$

Kim Jong Un

The hack on Sony Pictures Entertainment is one of the most debilitating ever targeted at US corporate servers.

The Nov 24th incident didn't just result in the theft of proprietary data, including unreleased films and employee information.

It is reportedly the first to use "a highly destructive class of malicious software that is designed to make computer networks unable to operate" into a company's computer system in the United States, according to Reuters.

North Korea has emerged as a leading suspect in the hack. Pyongyang had already vowed "merciless" retaliation over "The Interview," a Sony release in which James Franco and Seth Rogan play talk show hosts that the CIA enlists for an assassination plot against North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un. And it has greatly developed its cyber-offensive capabilities over the past decade. An unnamed security source told Reuters that North Korea is currently the "principal suspect."

If the Hermit Kingdom really is involved, it would make the Sony incident a potential turning point in the history of cyber-warfare.

For the past several years, states have started to compromise the computer systems of rival governments and private companies to further political or strategic aims: think China's infiltration of computers at the New York Times in response to a series of Pulitzer Prize-winning reports in 2012 on the private wealth of the country's top leadership, or Russia's "cyber-invasion" of Estonia in 2007.

But according to Dave Aitel, a former NSA research scientist and CEO of the cyber-security firm Immunity, the severity of the Sony attack, along with its nakedly political motives, would put the incident in its own unique category assuming it was North Korea's handiwork.

"If it was North Korea, these attacks against Sony would indicate that foreign powers are going beyond the traditional information-stealing attacks to enforcing their own law against American companies via what we would consider cyber terrorism," Aitel told Business Insider by email. "It would be a watershed moment in how the world handles cyber policy and reaction."

sony

Aitel says the hacks are potentially  "a ‘near red-line moment’" since they represent the kind of incident that would almost require a US policy response assuming a rival state was behind it. As Aitel says, "This is the first demonstration of what the military would call Destructive Computer Network Attack (CNA) against a US Corporation on US soil ... a broad escalation in cyberwarfare tactics" that would demand some kind of American response.

It would also signal an increased willingness for North Korea to deploy its developing cyber-offensive capabilities against American targets.

An August 2014 report from Hewitt Packard Security Research explained Pyongyang's longstanding policy of attempting ot integrate cyber attacks into its doctrine of "asymmetrical warfare" — namely, North Korea's attempts at closing the defense gap with its more conventionally capable enemies, like South Korea and the United States, in whatever ways it can.

"Cyber warfare allows North Korea to leverage the Internet’s inherent flaws for offensive purposes while maintaining its defenses, primarily via air-gapping its most critical networks from the outside world," the report explains.

To that end, North Korea established a group of hackers within its military special forces architecture, called Unit 121, that is trained in a hotel in eastern China. Early results were alarming: as early as 2004, North Korea "reportedly gained access to 33 of 80 South Korean military wireless communication networks;" in 2006, "an attack on the US State Department originating in the East Asia-Pacific region coincided with U.S.-North Korea negotiations over the regime’s nuclear missile testing."

north korea missiles

There's evidence that North Korea was attempting ambitious attacks on private sector entities as well. According to the HP report, in February of 2013, a private security firm called Solutionary recorded 11,000 "touches," or electronic attempts to steal deal, on "a single financial institution," all originating from North Korean IP addresses. Solutionary noted that North Korean IPs only attempted 200 touches a month at a time, suggesting this rapid uptick was part of a concerted attack on the institution, which goes unnamed in HP's report.

North Korea has been developing its hacking capabilities from the safety of a web infrastructure that's largely cut off from the rest of the world. And it might feel like it can afford to gamble a bit, given successful nuclear tests and rocket launches in the last couple of years. The international community responded with trade sanctions and a policy of diplomatic isolation — but not the point where the regime's control over the country has ever been all that seriously in question.

It would be unsurprising if North Korea believed it could get away with something of the Sony hack's magnitude. The question now is how the US might respond if Pyongyang's responsibility is more conclusively proven.

Michael B. Kelley contributed to this report.

SONY EMPLOYEES: Why Are We Still Paying Adam Sandler?

$

adam sandler david spade grown ups 2

Documents continue to leak online from the massive cyberattack that hit Sony Pictures late last month.

The latest comes from Gawker which has combed through a lengthy file containing negative employee feedback.

Gawker points out what appears to be a main concern of many at the studio, that Sony is over-reliant on reboots and Adam Sandler flicks while taking little risk on "innovative" films. For example, one employee asked why Sony doesn't have a property akin to "The Hunger Games."

Reboots in the past year at Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) include a new "RoboCop" movie and a sequel to "The Amazing Spider-Man" franchise. The latter has performed worse than the original Spidey trilogy starring Tobey McGuire at Sony. The studio's next big movie is a re-imagining of the classic "Annie."

Several comments suggest many are tired of the studio's "formulaic" Sandler movies. His last two films, "Grown Ups 2" and animated "Hotel Transylvania" were hits for Sony.

Here are some of the employee complaints via Gawker.

There is a general "blah-ness" to the films we produce. Althought we manage to produce an innovative film once in awhile, Social Network, Moneyball, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, we continue to be saddled with the mundane, formulaic Adam Sandler films. Let's raise the bar a little on the films we produce, and inspire employees that they are working on the next Social Network.

In TV and Theatrical, I hope management looks closely at the money spent on development and term deals to ensure efficiency. There are a lot of term deal personnel as well as creative personnel, yet we only release a dozen or so Columbia Pictures a year, for example. And will we still be paying for Adam Sandler? Why?

It is commenable [sic] that SPE understands/supports the importance of risk-taking, particularly in how the we pick films to greenlight. However, the studio needs to change deal structure that has been in place with Happy Madison, as this arrangement has disproportionately benefitted Adam Sandler and his team, relative to SPE.

Stop making the same, safe, soul-less movies and TV shows. Enough with the re-makes and reboots. Breaking Bad and Community are just about the most artful and innovative gems we currently have

Sandler recently signed an unprecedented deal with Netflix in which the actor will make four exclusive movies for the streaming site.

You can read more of the employee comments at Gawker, here.

HACKED: Sylvester Stallone's Social Security Number

Rocky Sylvester Stallone

The fallout from the Sony Pictures hack just keeps getting worse.

In addition to salary data for Sony execs and accounting managers at Deloitte, the hack included more than 47,000 Social Security Numbers reports the Wall Street Journal.

Some of the numbers belong to celebrities like Sylvester Stallone and Judd Apatow, but most of the numbers belong to current and former Sony employees.

Once criminals get their hands on SSNs, that paves the way for full-on identity theft, as people use those numbers as IDs for a lot of services.

The hack is being widely blamed on North Korean operatives because it used similar methods as past breaches attributed to North Korea, but the country has denied responsibility

There is a lotofmovie news today. The latest is that Ryan Reynolds is set to reprise his role as Marvel anti-hero Deadpool in 20th Century Fox's upcoming movie of the same name.

Both The Wrap and Deadline report that it's basically a done deal.

Reynolds all but confirmed the news as well.

Earlier Thursday, Reynolds teased his return to the role on Twitter with an image of the anti-hero's favorite food, Chimichangas.

For those unfamiliar with the character, Deadpool is a mercenary named Wade Wilson known for breaking the fourth wall in his comic books. Essentially, he's a comic book character who knows he's a comic book character, and is a favorite of fans to dress up as at Comic Con conventions

Reynolds played the character in 2009's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" movie.

Since then, the actor has claimed the character as his own, trying to get a "Deadpool" movie filmed. He even went so far as to film test footage of himself playing the character. The footage leaked online earlier this year and was positively received.

The "Deadpool" movie is set for a Feb. 12, 2016 release.
