Budweiser Threatened To Pull Its Ad Dollars From The UFC After Seeing This Guy's Nazi Tattoos

brandon c saling

Sexism and homophobia inside the Ultimate Fighting Championship has gotten so bad that Anheuser-Busch—which doesn't have a reputation for fussiness or political correctness—is publicly threatening to remove its sponsorship money. The maker of Budweiser told Ad Age:

"We've communicated to the UFC our displeasure with certain remarks made by some of its fighters, and they have promised to address this. If the incidents continue, we will act."

That kind of open statement is almost unheard of in sports sponsorship, where advertiser displeasure is usually delivered to media partners behind closed doors.

It came after UFC president Dana White used the word "faggot" in a video; presenter Joe Rogan used the C-word to refer to a female blogger; and one fighter, Brandon C. Saling, was allowed to compete in a UFC-affiliated event, according to Big Lead Sports, even though he is a convicted sex offender who wears Nazi tattoos. The picture above is Saling's police mugshot, taken after he was accused of raping a 12-year-old girl.

The UFC is an extreme case. While the sport can't be expected to be a bastion of Edwardian manners, it is not until you see a collection of the kinds of things said by UFC pros that you realize just how unprofessional the organization is. What follows is a slideshow of incidents in which offensive language and behavior is used in the UFC. We don't publish it to be sensational—although we're not against that either. We do so because parents ought to know what their kids are watching.

Joe Rogan used the c-word to describe a female UFC blogger, and didn't apologize.

Joe Rogan used the c-word to describe a blogger, Maggie Hendricks, who writes about the UFC. Hendricks had criticized one fighter for sexually harassing a UFC TV presenter, and Rogan posted his opinion of her on an online forum. When asked to apologize, he later wrote:

“Never did I imagine that so many people would get their panties in a bunch about the use of the word [expletive] to describe a female blogger.”

UFC Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson forces a Japanese fan to call himself a faggot.

At a fan convention, Jackson repeatedly persuades his Asian fans to make homophobic remarks about themselves while the video rolls. Painful.

Fighter Rashad Evans makes jokes about sexual abuse at Penn State.

At a pre-fight press conference, Evans promised his opponent:

"I'm going to put those hands on you worse than that dude did them other kids at Penn State."

It's good to be Lea Michele.

A starring role on "Glee," a bikini body worth flaunting and an equally attractive co-star-turned-boyfriend, Cory Monteith, with whom she takes PDA-filled vacations all over the world.

And now, the couple have a little $1.4 million love nest of their own.

While Michele, 25, purchased the property solo under her real name Lea Sarfati, the couple will no doubt take advantage of the one-story Hollywood bungalow's two bedrooms, two bathrooms, French doors, private office, pool and outdoor dining pavilion which includes a kitchen.

REVEALED: Molly Ringwald Almost Played Julia Roberts' 'Pretty Woman' Role

$

molly ringwald

Molly Ringwald starred in iconic '80s films like "The Breakfast Club," "Sixteen Candles," and "Pretty In Pink" before dropping off the radar. Today, she occasionally acts and is a mom to three kids.

Ringwald posted to Reddit's Ask Me Anything forum, using this picture as proof of her identity. She revealed that she was being considered for the lead in Pretty Woman and looked at an early script (at the time it was called "$3,000").

But Ringwald has no regrets about not pursuing the part:

Julia Roberts is what makes that movie. It was her part. Every actor hopes for a part that lets them shine like that.

Ringwald also shared her favorite part of filming "The Breakfast Club":

When I did the smoking doobage scene "I'm so popular, everyone loves me at this school," it was basically all improvised and John just let the camera roll for twenty minutes. He was so psyched with everything he got that he dragged my mother into the room where they were showing rushes so she could see how brilliant her daughter was. Of course, my mom was horrified.

Whether she would be involved in a Sixteen candles sequel:

At one point, six years ago, I was considering participating in a sequel to Sixteen Candles. But (director) John Hughes didn't want to have sequels to any of the movies I was in and I didn't feel comfortable doing it without his involvement.

Ringwald also revealed her next plan: She has a jazz album coming out next spring.

Now see what Molly was actually smoking in that "doobage" scene >

HBO's 'Girls': Meet The Actresses That Everyone Is Talking About

Girls-HBO-Show-Comedy

Whether you're a fan of the show or despise the very thought of it, HBO's new girls-in-the-city comedy "Girls" is dominating the talk around Hollywood and all over the web.

The series follows Hannah (series creator Lena Dunham), Marnie (Allison Williams), Jessa (Jemima Kirke) and Shoshana (Zosia Mamet) as they struggle to "make it" in New York City in their early 20s.

Sounds like another show you've heard of right? Yes, the explicit content is in the same vein as "Sex and the City," but there's more to these early-twenties girls than shoes, sex and clothes.

Find out more about the actresses and the roles they play here. They may not represent all millennials out there, but they're worth some attention.

The Creator: Lena Dunham

It seemed that overnight, "Girls" creator Lena Dunham became an indie darling on her quick way to mainstream success.

Dunham directed, wrote and starred in the comedy "Tiny Furniture" which won the best narrative feature at the South by Southwest Film Festival in 2010.

The movie earned her some recognition with big-shot comedy producer Judd Apatow who helped bring "Girls" to the Home Box Office cable channel.

The Best Friend: Allison Williams

Allison Williams is a Yale graduate and a viral video sensation. Surprised? So were we.

From a very young age, Williams knew she wanted to be an actress. And only a few months after graduating from her Ivy-League university, she fulfilled that dream.

But it all started with a few simple videos on YouTube and Funny or Die.

She sang the theme song to "Mad Men" with a twist and made a "Why I Choose Yale" video which have both hit well over half a million views. And her Pippa Middleton parodies are definitely worth watching.

Jemima Kirke

The new British transplant to New York City on "Girls," Jemima Kirke is already a rising star.

The actress has known Lena Dunham since high school and even co-starred in Dunham's festival film "Tiny Furniture."

And that was the most acting experience she really had before booking the role on "Girls." Originally Kirke wasn't actively pursuing a career in the 'biz but when Dunham came to her about the show, she was in support and on board.

Only two episodes in and Kirke's character is already dealing with some heavy plot lines.

1989 batman logo movie

Rodrigo Rojas has created a video that tracks the amazing 70-year mutation of the iconic Batman logo from its initial conception to later interpretations. (Who can forget Batman and Superman vs. Alien and Predator?)

The evolution follows everything: 1940's DC comics, the classic Adam West series, films, video games, even the not-so-classic Batman and Superman vs. etc, etc.

It's fascinating to see the transformation from clunky to chic. Sometimes the bat sign has a face or eyes, other times it is sleek and black.

Batman junkies, enjoy.

1941 Logo: In the early years, the Batman logo had a face.

Batman with Robin, The Boy Wonder; Detective Comics

1965 Logo: The symbol became narrow and less personalized. It was solid and black.

Good Girls Gone Bad: The Biggest Female Celebrity Breakdowns

$

Rihanna Snoop

Female celebrities have it rough in Hollywood.

The pressure to please viewers and promote themselves as a certain image on a daily basis can be daunting and degrading.

Christina Aguilera created a new overtly sexual identity for her album "Stripped," Tara Reid started partying up a storm after her "American Pie" heyday and Demi Lovato had to check into rehab for bulimia after appearing as the perfect Disney channel darling.

Now, as we all witness Rihanna's steady plunge into the scandalous depths of crazy, take a moment to look back at some memorable 180-degree transformations of some of the most famous female singers, models and actresses.

Demi Moore

Former "Brat Pack-er" Demi Moore seemed to have everything going for her until her latest breakdown.

Moore was married to Ashton Kutcher and had a big, happy family with her daughters and her ex-husband Bruce Willis

She had also recently been cast as the iconic feminist Gloria Steinem in the new Linda Lovelace (aka Deep Throat) biopic.

But amidst rumors of Ashton cheating, the two decided to split and Moore was said to be out partying until the early hours of the morning.

The actress then dropped out of the Linda Lovelace film and went to get treatment for "exhaustion" among other things. We're hoping she has a speedy recovery and gets back to her healthy self soon.

Rihanna

As we've shown you before, the Barbados-born pop star seems to be going down a slippery slope of party behavior.

While Rihanna has always been known for her sultry style, recently she's taken that shtick to a whole new level.

She's tweeted scantily clad photos of herself, started an online feud with Chris Brown's new girlfriend and even her music is getting more X-rated.

We're all, unfortunately, on breakdown-watch for this star.

Tara Reid

The "American Pie" star definitely showed how different she was from her character Vicky, the good girl who breaks up her boyfriend before going to college.

Reid quickly became known for her heavy drinking and partying and, of course, there's the 2005 wardrobe malfunction she had at P.Diddy's 2005 party.

In 2008, the actress finally checked into rehab of her own accord and now she's back on track with her new film "American Reunion" which was released to lackluster results at teh box office earlier this month.

These Celebrity Women Earn More Than Their Men

$

gwen stefani

Hollywood is on a different pay scale than the majority of Americans, but even celebrity couples usually designate a "bread winner." When the high earner of a duo happens to be the woman, it's something to take note of. The Forbes Most Powerful Celebrities list reveals that only 11 of the top 50 celebrity earners are female, and of that small number, about half were in a committed relationship at the time of this writing. In spite of the rarity of l

ong-term couplings where the lady makes the most, here are a handful of Hollywood power pairs doing just that.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale

While most remember Gwen as the super-cute front woman for '90s hit band No Doubt, her influence in pop culture has grown to incorporate fashion, accessories and must-have gear for the kid crowd. Her latest line of clothing, Harajuku Mini, is a big boon for Target retailers. While Gwen's earnings aren't as public as some of the more notable celebs, her time in the limelight has given her more star-power and cash than her ex-Bush band rocker husband, who has been laying low until more recently.

hillary-duffHilary Duff and Mike Comrie

Celeb couple Hilary and Mike aren't your typical "power pairing." Mike, a recently-retired Canadian hockey player, has seen much of his million-dollar sports earnings come to a halt, at least for now. Former Disney-star Hilary, who has just given birth to a child, but who has seen her acting and directing career transition into a mini empire of activity, (including clothing and young adult fiction), may just be getting started with her earnings.

Oprah and Stedman

Oprah-cbs-morning-showFinally, a celebrity feature wouldn't be complete without mentioning the mother of all earners: Oprah Winfrey. Topping the Forbes' list at a staggering $290 million in earnings, no one can seemingly out-earn her; this includes her technically non-celeb beau of 38 years, Stedman Graham. While most Americans wouldn't recognize the businessman and author while walking down a crowded sidewalk, his association with the queen of celebrity has made him a household name. Stedman's earnings are not available for public comment, but our educated guess is that it pales in comparison to Ms. Winfrey's well-established empire.

The Bottom Line

There were many other "notable" couples that almost made the list: Katy Perry and Russell BrandHeidi Klum and SealKim Kardashian and Kris Humphries - to name a few. Like so many Hollywood and real-life couples, the vows for these high-earners had fizzled out before making the list. Here's hoping the above-mentioned celebs can see their partnerships, and paychecks, carry on despite the spotlight.

Twelve new character posters have been revealed for "The Expendables 2" and they tell as much about the plot as the teaser trailer ... nothing.

We barely know anything about the upcoming summer blockbuster; however, it doesn't matter one bit. We don't need a reason to see this film other than the lineup.

The movie stars nearly every mega-action star (save Liam Neeson and Matt Damon). Who doesn't want to see Stallone have it out on the big screen alongside Willis, Schwarzenegger and ... Liam Hemsworth!? Sure, why not?

Before He Was Famous, Stanley Kubrick Shot These Beautiful Showgirls And Models In The 1940s

Before Stanley Kubrick became famous for directing movies such as Eyes Wide Shut and A Clockwork Orange he was a photographer for Look magazine.

In 1949, when Kubrick was about 21, Look sent him to Illinois to do a photo-essay titled, "Chicago, City of Contrasts." He also shot an extensive portfolio of shots of ordinary life in New York.

One recurring theme emerges from the portfolio, which is now archived in the Library of Congress: Kubrick liked women.

Especially showgirls, performers and any other female who lived comfortably in front of a lens.

This is Kubrick's collection of gorgeous black-and-white prints of models, dancers and entertainers, taken in the late 1940s.

As a young man before he became a director, Kubrick was bewitched by performers and shows. This was taken in Chicago in 1948.

17 Young Actors Who Are Going To Be Huge In 2012

$

Juno Temple

You may not know the names Brit Marling, Greta Gerwig or Benjamin Walker just yet—but after the summer blockbusters have sizzled and 2012 turns into 2013, we guarantee these 17 young actors' faces will be plastered on magazine covers and movie promo billboards across the country.

From co-starring alongside established A-list names to rising up through the ranks of indie films into blockbuster bonanzas, we believe these kids have what it takes to get the Oscar gold.

Here's why ...

Brit Marling

AGE: 29

WHERE YOU'VE SEEN HER: Last year's "Another Earth."

WHAT'S NEXT: Marling has three films out this year, "Arbitrage" co-starring Richard Gere, the Robert Redford directed "The Company You Keep" and "The East" with Ellen Page and Alexander Skarsgård.

WHY SHE WILL BE BIG: The actress writes her own roles, winning Best Actress awards for her role in self-written "Another Earth." With three films out this year with Hollywood A-listers, it's going to be pretty tough to miss the darling Marling.

FUN FACT: Marling graduated with a degree in economics from Georgetown and turned down a job offer with Goldman Sachs to pursue a career as an artist.

Greta Gerwig

AGE: 28

WHERE YOU'VE SEEN HER: Gerwig starred in last year's summer blockbuster, "No Strings Attached" and "Arthur" with Russell Brand. She was also in Ben Stiller's 2010 flick "Greenberg."

WHAT'S NEXT: The actress has two indie films coming out this year: "Damsels in Distress" and "Lola Vs." She's currently co-starring alongside Jesse Eisenberg and Ellen Page in Woody Allen's "To Rome with Love."

WHY SHE WILL BE BIG: She's a triple threat, co-writing, co-directing and co-starring in "Nights and Weekends."

FUN FACT: Gerwig originally planned on becoming a playwright. She also voices a main character on an Adult Swim cartoon, "China IL."

Dane DeHaan

AGE: 25

WHERE YOU'VE SEEN HIM: The Golden Globe winning drama "In Treatment" as well as this year's super powers gone wrong film "Chronicle."

WHAT'S NEXT: Starring as Shia LaBeouf's best friend in the new western "Lawless" as well as "Blue Valentine" director Derek Cianfrance's next film "The Place Beyond the Pines" as Ryan Gosling's son.

WHY HE WILL BE BIG: DeHaan's look and performances are already drawing comparisons to a young Leonardo DiCaprio and the actor is getting prime roles for the next two years like the 2013 Beat Poet drama "Kill Your Darlings" where he'll play the gay lover of Daniel Radcliffe's Allen Ginsberg.

FUN FACT: DeHaan got his acting start as Haley Joel Osment's understudy in the Broadway revival of "American Buffalo". The play closed after only eight performances.
