When Miguel took the stage during the performance-heavy Billboard Music Awards, he thought it would be a great idea to jump from one stage to another.

He didn't quite make it and landed on crowd members in the process.

Afterward, the singer carried on with his performance like nothing happened.

Backstage, after the show, Miguel appeared with one of the young ladies, Khyati, to explain she is doing fine.

“Got caught up in the moment, thank goodness Khyati is okay," said Miguel.

17 Photos That Defined The Billboard Music Awards

The Billboard Music Awards were filled with plenty more performances than award-giving.

Bruno Mars, Selena Gomez, and Justin Bieber were among the many routines of the evening that lasted a long three hours on ABC.

PSY rocked the stage with host Tracy Morgan early on and Christina Aguilera debuted a slimmer look.

Jennifer Lopez heated up the stage in leggy red boots, while Miguel took the evening — and a few bystanders — down a few notches during a failed stage dive attempt.

Bruno Mars opened the show to a gorgeous backdrop, performing "Treasure."

Host Tracy Morgan made a grand entrance with a flock of feathered females.

He later hijacked the stage with PSY for a mini dance-off.

'Star Trek' Blasts Past 'Iron Man 3' With $84 Million — Here's Your Box-Office Roundup

$

star trek into darkness poster

As the only new wide release out this weekend, it was no surprise that "Star Trek Into Darkness" zoomed past both "Iron Man 3" and "The Great Gatsby" opening weekend.

However, it did come as a bit of a shock that the film didn't earn anywhere near analyst expectations of $100 million

Over the course of three days the film managed to take in a haul of $70.6 million, nearly five million less than its predecessor in 2009.

The 4-day total was closer for both films, with "Into Darkness" taking in $84 million. Still, more people tuned in for the reboot of J.J. Abrams "Star Trek" three years ago.

The real story of the box office is "Iron Man 3" which hit $1 billion at the end of last week. While it didn't hit the mark faster than last year's "The Avengers" (19 days), it is now one of the fastest films to gross that amount in worldwide ticket sales.

With no other wide releases, the rest of the box office carried on undisturbed.

Next weekend, "Hangover III" and "Fast and Furious 6" will compete for the top spot at theaters.

Here are this week's winners and losers at the box office:

10. "The Big Wedding" featuring Amanda Seyfried, Susan Sarandon, and Robert De Niro earned $1.1 million to add to it's $20.2 million take at the box office. This should be the film's last week in the top ten with two new wide releases out next week.

9. After a disastrous opening weekend, "Tyler Perry Presents Peeples" takes a nosedive down the box office earning $2.1 million. Starring Craig Robinson ("The Office") and Kerry Washington, the film cost an estimated $15 million to produce.

8, Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon's low-budget "Mud" takes in $2.16 million. The film has earned $11.6 million since its wide release May 10. What's impressive is that its earning more than "Peeples" while in less than half the theaters.

7. Tom Cruise's futuristic "Oblivion" holds onto the box office after five weeks with $2.2 million. The sci-fi thriller has now earned $258.5 million worldwide with nearly 70% international gross.

6. Jackie Robinson film "42" has kept an impressive hold at theaters. After six weeks the film has earned another $2.7 million. The WB film, which cost an estimated $40 million to produce has earned $88.7 million domestically.

5. With no kid competition in theaters, "The Croods" climbs two spots this week with $2.8 million. After nine weeks, the DreamWorks' Animation caveman comedy has earned $550 million worldwide.

4. Mark Wahlberg's "Pain and Gain" earns $3.1 million this weekend. After one month in theaters, the Michael Bay-directed film has earned $46.6 million at theaters.

3. "The Great Gatsby" holds steady in week two earning $23.4 million. The adaptation, featuring Leonardo DiCaprio has surprised all analysts. Despite harsh reviews, the film has managed to bring in $132 million worldwide.

2. "Iron Man 3" earns $35.2 million in its third week, bringing the film to $337 million domestically. Robert Downey Jr.'s third installment in the franchise hit the $1 billion mark at the end of last week and is well on its way to earning $1.5 billion.

1. "Star Trek Into Darkness" earned $70.6 million opening weekend. If you count Thursday, since the film's release was pushed up a day, it took in $84 million over the course of four days. While that may sound great, it didn't perform better than the 2009 original from director J.J. Abrams which earned $70.6 million in three days and $86.7 million in four.

Last week, Hitler empathizing director Lars von Trier released a moderately disturbing online poster to promote his graphic new film, "Nymphomaniac." In case you need more specifics the "four-hour sex-o-rama" is reportedly being released in both hard-core and soft-core versions.

The innuendo-laden, hand-painted image features Charlotte Gainsbourg, Christian Slater, Willem Dafoe, Shia Laboeuf, Stellan Skarsgård and Uma Thurman.

Each star is engaged in an apparently lewd act in a Renaissance-style tableau. But just enough is left to the imagination so that we do not actually see any nudity.

Justin Bieber Gets Booed At The Billboard Music Awards

Not everyone is a #Belieber.

When Justin Bieber took the stage to accept his fan-voted MIlestone Award at the Billboard Music Awards, he was met with a series of cheers and boos.

The 19-year-old singer beat out both Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars for the new award.

Bieber's solution?

He started his acceptance speech asking the public to take him and his work seriously.

"I'm 19 years old. I think I'm doing a pretty good job," said Bieber. "This is not a gimmick. I'm an artist, and I should be taken seriously. This other bull should not be spoken of."

However, his speech didn't help and the boos continued.

Bieber went home last night with another award for top male artist.

Watch Bieber get booed below:

Bieber later took to Twitter to acknowledge his wins and fans.

PHOTOS: Brooklyn's Giant Food And Music Festival Was A Blast Until It Got Cancelled

It was supposed to be a weekend filled with eating, drinking, and music in Brooklyn's Prospect Park.

But rain put a damper on The Great GoogaMooga, the outdoor food and music festival billed as an "Amusement park of food and drink."

The festival, now in its second year, got off to a very strong start Friday night, with beautiful weather, short lines for food, and some awesome music. Everything was set for a strong comeback after last year's mixed reviews

Saturday started off nice but quickly descended into gray skies and intermittent showers. And Sunday the weather was so unpleasant that concert organizers, in agreement with the New York City Parks Department and the Prospect Park Alliance, decided to cancel the day altogether.

We don't know what this bodes for next year, but here are some highlights from Friday night at the Great GoogaMooga in Prospect Park, Brooklyn.

The entry lines moved smoothly at the Great GoogaMooga on Friday.

The main stage looked impressive and there lots of people enjoying the scene. Volunteers from Clean Vibes helping keep the place looking good.

There were plenty of food options and more vendors and vendor locations than last year. Lines were short, and moved quickly.

taylor swift 22 billboard music awards

One of the highlights of the Billboard Music Awards — other than Miguel's stage dive fail— was Taylor Swift's performance of "22."

It was the first time she performed the song on TV, and she ditched the stage performing most of the song backstage.

This resulted in table dancing and getting a lift on a bicycle to make her way to the stage later with dance group Jabbawockeez.

Swift also wore a youthful unicorn T-shirtWe wouldn't be surprised if the demand for shirts with the mythical creature goes up this week.

Her performance breathed life into a rather listless awards' show.

Each 'Game Of Thrones' House Reimagined As A Global Corporation

Daenerys Targaryen dragon game of thrones

Within the fantasy-context of "Game of Thrones," the show's different houses are easily identified by their penchant for dragons, piracy, or maiming capabilities.

But what if they existed in our modern corporate culture? While characters have been paired with NBA Playoff star doppelgangers and matched by OKCupid's compatibility algorithm, Shutterstock had another way to reimagine the houses.

Rather than prepping for battle on the field, Shutterstock wondered what it would be like if the houses were preparing for battle in the boardroom.

The photo sharing platform recreated the "Game of Throne" houses as modern corporations using its stock photos.

As Joe Berkowitz at Fast Company points out, "It’s not that big a leap to see an analog in the rancorous ongoing battle between, say, Apple and Samsung."

You know "Game of Thrones" ...

Welcome to Shutterstock's "Game of Brands."

Seth MacFarlane Won't Host The Oscars Next Year

Seth MacFarlane Oscars host

Seth MacFarlane will not return to host the 2014 Oscars, the filmmaker and hit TV writer/producer announced on Monday. MacFarlane said that his schedule did not permit him to return.

"Traumatized critics exhale: I'm unable to do the Oscars again. Tried to make it work schedule-wise, but I need sleep," MacFarlane tweeted.

MacFarlane's turn as emcee of the 2013 Oscars divided the community. Some found him funny and eager to experiment while many found him crass and unoriginal, citing a long gag about breasts.

MacFarlane, one of the most successful writers and showrunners in television, finds his schedule even busier because of his now-bustling film career. He is writing, directing and starring in "A Million Ways to Die in the West" and, eventually, should make a sequel to "Ted."

Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Maron first brought on MacFarlane because he would appeal to a younger audience and because he loves musical theater. The producers will return in 2014 and had hoped MacFarlane would join them.

While the "Family Guy" and "American Dad!" creator will not be able to host, he has an idea of who should.

"I highly recommend the job, as Zadan and Meron are two of the most talented producers in the business," he tweeted. "My suggestion for host is Joaquin Phoenix."

'Star Trek Into Darkness' Had A Pretty Disappointing Opening

$

"Star Trek Into Darkness" was expected to be the second $100 million box-office opening this year. Instead, J.J. Abrams' sequel to his 2009 film earned $70.6 million.

While that may sound great, it's not that impressive.

Let's break it down.

"Star Trek Into Darkness" has earned less at the box office than 2009 predecessor "Star Trek."

Paramount thought it would be good to release the film a day earlier, not only to get a lead on the two blockbusters already out, "Iron Man 3" and "The Great Gatsby," but also the jam-packed week ahead with both "The Hangover III" and "Fast and Furious 6."

Unfortunately, that didn't help as the film's 4-day total sits at $84 million, $2 million short of 2009 film "Star Trek."star trek vs star trek into darkness

"Star Trek Into Darkness" isn't even the second-largest box-office opening of the year.

That title belongs to "Oz the Great and Powerful," during a time while the box office was pretty slow.

Compared to other wide releases, the per theater earnings of "Star Trek Into Darkness" doesn't hold up.

mike and molly"Mike & Molly" fans won't be seeing Monday's season finale episode, which was scheduled to debut at 9:30 p.m. CBS has pulled it in light of Monday's devastating tornado in Oklahoma.

"Due to the tragic events this afternoon in Oklahoma, we are pre-empting tonight’s season finale of 'Mike & Molly,' which has a related storyline," a CBS spokeswoman told TheWrap. "A repeat broadcast of 'Mike & Molly' will run in the time period. The season finale will be broadcast at an appropriate date."

The episode titled "Windy City" placed its main characters Mike and Molly (Billy Gardell and Melissa McCarthy, respectively) in a tornado that hits Chicago.

Though it looks like she's in complete body paint, Lawrence told E! Online after the Oscar's she would be wearing a suit this time around.

There's A New Tour For Game Of Thrones Fans

Game of Thrones daenerys

Fans of the epic fantasy series Game of Thrones can visit sites made famous by the television drama on one of two new walking tours around Dubrovnik and Northern Ireland.

The tours visit some of the most popular filming locations and will be launched this summer by the company Viator. Guides will be up-to-date on the latest gossip and stories as the drama reaches the end of its third series on HBO and Sky Atlantic.

The plot follows the fortunes of various warring dynasties and the tours will take in the castles, fortifications, caves and sections of countryside that formed the backdrop to some of the most memorable scenes.

A four-hour walking tour of Dubrovnik’s picturesque old town, set besides the Adriatic, features stops at the city parks used by film crews and gives visitors the chance to climb the same walls that were attacked by the Baratheons in the first series.

Dubrovnik, CroatiaThere is also the opportunity to hear about the dastardly exploits of King Joffrey and admire the castle used as King’s Landing, capital of the Seven Kingdom’s realm, in the television series. The 11th-century Lovrijenac Fortress has been used for many of the Game of Thrones battle scenes.

The second private tour will take place around Belfast, which is the series’ most permanent base. Many scenes were set along the Causeway Coastal Route. From here, fans can walk from the village of Cushendun to the caves where Melisandre of Asshai gave birth.

From Ballycastle, visitors can also walk through the “The Dark Hedges” near Armoy (pictured below), a path lined with gnarled, foreboding trees, which young Ayra Stark passed through on her escape from King’s Landing.

There is also a chance to see Ballintoy Harbour, used as Lordsport Harbour in the series, and Downhill Strand, a location that doubled as “Dragonstone” during the burning of the Seven Idols of Westeros.

All these sites are found near the Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO-heritage site, which visitors can also explore.

The Dubrovnik tour costs from £46.93 per person, the Belfast tour, from £72 per person. Book at viator.com .
