20 Celebrities' First R-Rated Movie Roles

0
0

Selena Gomez, Ashley BensonIf you're under 17, you can't see R-rated movies without an adult, but there are no rules about acting in them.

Some of the industry's most famous faces starred in some very adult movies at a young age while others were a little more patient.

2013: Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson - 'Spring Breakers'

Disney sweetheart Gomez and ABC Family star Benson were surprising additions to director Harmony Korine's lurid tale of guns and sex in sun-soaked Florida, Spring Breakers. For both young actresses their decision to take part was based on doing something different and more adult.

2012: Zac Efron - 'The Paperboy'

Efron appeared in 2012's The Paperboy as the film's title character who falls for an older woman while helping his brother, a journalist, investigate a case involving a death row inmate. The Disney star did 10 movies before committing to his R-rated feature.

2008: Jennifer Lawrence - 'The Poker House'

Some might guess Winter's Bone was Lawrence's first R-rated role, but it's actually The Poker House that claims the distinction. She plays a young girl growing up in Iowa in Lori Petty's semi-autobiographical story. Petty wrote the film along with David Alan Grier, of all people.

The Crazy Way They Achieve Nuclear Disarmament In G.I. Joe: Retaliation

Perhaps the strangest moment in the ridiculous action movie "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" is when the nefarious Zartan, impersonating the President of the United States, achieves total global nuclear disarmament.

It's strange to see a super villain accomplish something that liberals have been dreaming of for years, and what's even stranger is that his method of doing so seems (at least to someone who has been sitting in the movie theater for 90 minutes) like something that could almost work if we were crazy enough to try it.

NOTE: This would not actually work.

In the middle of a summit of the world's eight nuclear powers, the false U.S. president opens his nuclear briefcase and launches all of America's nukes.

Everyone at the table flips out, and then, moments later, they open their nuclear briefcases and launch all of their nukes.

Next, the false U.S. president presses another button to cause all U.S. nukes to self-destruct.

Next, he tells the dumbfounded seven other premiers in the room to destroy their nukes or be responsible for the end of the world. All of them quickly comply — except for the North Korean leader, who hesitates over his control panel, scowling at the false U.S. president and contemplating apocalypse, before finally cursing and hitting abort.

And just like that, all of the world's nukes are gone.

It's a glorious moment, even if Zartan immediately reveals that he has only gotten rid of nukes to make the world vulnerable to Cobra's own space-based weapons of mass destruction.

But the real world isn't that simple.

A wild maneuver like Zartan's would never be attempted, and anyway we could never launch or destroy all nukes at once.

Instead we are stuck in a world with 17,000 nuclear warheads that no major power dares to use but which are perpetually at risk of falling into the hands of someone who will.

Jay leno Jimmy Fallon duet

Amid much controversy over the "Tonight" show, NBC released a brilliant video Monday night addressing rumors of who will take over as host of the late night show.

The four-minute video features Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon lip-syncing a duet of a new version of the ballad ”Tonight” from "West Side Story."

Except this time, here's the chorus that is belted out in unison: "Tonight, tonight, who's gonna host 'Tonight?'"

Here's an example of some of the funny lyrics:

Jimmy:

Only you, every night you throw to me, Jay Leno.

In the news all they do is say I'm replacing you, they think I can woo the demo.

Jay:

Tonight, tonight, my ratings were alright...

20 years and I'm still in first place.

Tonight, tonight, I've got Fox on the line or maybe I could take  take over for Dave?

Together:

Tonight, tonight, why do hey say we fight?

I like you, you like me, we're okay!

NBC notes“this video marks the first time both shows have collaborated on one piece that aired as a seamless bridge between them."

Halle Berry, her fiancé Olivier Martinez and young daughter Nahla were returning from a pleasant Easter beach vacation in Hawaii when things nearly turned violent after the family touched down at LAX.

As a swarm of awaiting paparazzi crowded the threesome, Halle lost it when one photog got too close to her daughter: "Get away, it's a child, you idiots!"

Berry's actor-fiancé then started to go after a photog but she quickly yelled "Olivier no!" and shoved him in their awaiting SUV.

There's A New Craze That's Sweeping The Internet, But You're Probably Not Talented Enough To Partake

0

cup song kristina g

From Gangnam Style to The Harlem Shake, viral movements sweep the Internet frequently.

But the current craze takes a fair amount of talent, so most of us won't be able to partake.

The Cup Song movement was made popular by Pitch Perfect, a movie that came out in 2012 about a college singing group. It stars Twilight's Anna Kendrick and Bridesmaids' Rebel Wilson. During Kendrick's audition for the singing group, she sits on the floor with a solo cup, clapping and beating rhythmically on it while she sings "When I'm Gone." The song is from 1937 by Mainer’s Mountaineers, but the version Kendrick sang is by Lulu and the Lampshades.

Last May, Kendrick was asked to perform the Cup Song on David Letterman which kicked off a wave of copycats.

Kendrick wasn't the first person to perform The Cup Song, though. The song and the cup percussion first appeared in 2008 when a Youtube user uploaded a video showing people how to use a plastic cup as a song beat. A few months later, Lulu and the Lampshades performed their version with cups on Youtube.

Now, when you Google "Cup Song," 377 million results pop up, 131 million of which are videos. Many have millions of views. They're mostly performed by teenagers and women in their early 20's, the same crowd that watched Pitch Perfect, and many are making their own lyrics and renditions. There are also a lot of how-to videos about it.

The Cup Song not easy to learn (I tried and failed over Easter to be taught by college-age cousin, although I think I nailed the cup portion).

Here's Kendrick performing it on David Letterman:

Here are two girls singing it as a duet (they have more than 5 million views on YouTube):

'Amazing Spider-Man' Director Makes Fun Of Himself On-Set

If anyone is having fun making a movie right now, it's definitely director Marc Webb.

Since filming began nearly 40 days ago on "The Amazing Spider-Man" sequel, Webb regularly tweets out an image or video from the set for every day they're working.

While we've seen glimpses of the new Spidey suit, hints at the plot, and a new cast member in B.J. Novak ("The Office"), yesterday's images may have been among the best yet.

First, Webb tweeted an image of himself taken on set as two of his producers looked onward.

He then followed up with a jab at himself, speaking from the producers' point of view:

Sam Raimi directed the first "Spider-Man" trilogy which grossed nearly $2.5 billion worldwide.

TV Will Reach 'Tipping Point' in 2014 As 50% Of Americans Watch Online

emarketer tv

Fifty percent of Americans will watch digital TV online — via iPad, laptop or internet TV — next year, according to eMarketer in conjunction with regular cable TV.

They won't have given up cable, but the fact that nearly half of Americans already feel comfortable regularly watching movies and TV shows on computers (in addition or as a replacement for cable) is a "tipping point" for the business, the company says.

Here are its estimates for those who watch online at least once a month (at right).

"Digital TV viewers will cross a critical tipping point in 2014, surpassing 50% of the US internet user population," the company says.

And 30 percent of viewers are now potential cord-cutters, eMarketer estimates.

It also notes that Netflix's revenues, despite the company's troubles, have continued to rise:

'Game Of Thrones' Premiere Breaks Piracy Record

daenarys game of thrones

Subscribers, check. Freeloaders, check.

Well, the good news for HBO was that Sunday’s Season 3 premiere of “Game of Thrones” hit a new series high for viewership with 4.4 million viewers tuning in.

Now, here’s the bad news. The very same episode broke a related, though less welcome, record.

It banked the largest bittorrent swarm, which counts each user who’s sharing some or all of an episode at one time in some way or another – with more than 320,000 users, according to torrentfreak.com.

Also read: 'Game of Thrones' Sets Ratings Record With Season 3 Premiere

That’s more than double the previous record holder for biggest swarm: the Season 3 premiere of NBC’s "Heroes" at 144,663 users.

And according to the site, which documents this online form of piracy in which users buck the law by sharing parts or all of a movie or TV episode, "GOT’s" third season premiere has now exceeded more than a million downloads.

Before setting Monday’s piracy record, the HBO series based on George R.R. Martin’s fantasy novel series, "A Song of Ice and Fire," was already popular among pirates. It was the most downloaded series of 2012.

Funny enough, HBO’s programming president Michael Lombardo hasn't seemed to mind the infraction. “It is a compliment of sorts,” he said. “[Piracy is] something that comes along with having a wildly successful show on a subscription network.” He goes on to say that the piracy didn’t affect DVD sales.

Also read: 'Game of Thrones' Premiere: What Did The Critics Think?

"GOT" reps didn’t immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment on the latest record.

It seems one of the biggest reasons for piracy is the international delay of the season’s premiere. So, who is the most hungry for the latest chapter of the fight for the Iron Throne? After the U.S., the United Kingdom and Australia come in at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

The battle between content creators and piracy has been reaching a boiling point over the last few years as congress tries to pass harsher laws to punish those who are buying, selling and sharing copyrighted material.

Additionally, internet providers are trying to minimize their own risks by launching the Copyright Alert System, which sends a warning to users suspected of accessing copyrighted materials before punishing them with the restriction of their internet usage.

Playboy's New iPhone App Is Literally 'Just For The Articles'

playboy instagram

For decades, men have insisted that they only read Playboy "for the articles." The magazine's new iPhone app is putting that claim to the test.

The scandalous magazine's new app is all articles, no nudity.

“As the on-the-go extension of the Playboy brand, our new app brings the best of Playboy with original, thought-provoking and enticing bite-sized content that captures our design-driven and discernible style," Scott Flanders, chief executive of Playboy Enterprises, said in a statement. “We’ve rebuilt Playboy for iPhone from the ground up to attract the new generation of Gen Y fans who enjoy the indulgences of the artisanal good life and modern culture.”

Well, Steve Jobs did once say, "Folks who want porn can buy an Android phone."

Playboy director of digital content Josh Schollmeyer told USA Today that this requires a new approach to photo shoots. "I tell all my photographers every picture has to be one of three things," he said. "It has to be romantic, whimsical or sexy."

This strategy has worked for Playboy in the past. Its Instagram feed is creative, successful, and safe for work.

Consumers will still have to pay for the app.

Although, if people want to see everything on their mobile device, according to Mashable they can "go over to i.playboy.com, where Playboy offers a web-based iPad app." It's pricier, but with everything you'd see in the normal magazine.

'Finding Nemo' Sequel Is Coming November 2015

finding dory disney

Disney just announced a sequel to 2003's "Finding Nemo.

"Finding Dory" will be released November 25, 2015.

Ellen DeGeneres will reprise her role as the blue fish, Dory, in the sequel.

“I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time,” said DeGeneres in a statement. “I’m not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating ‘Toy Story 16.’ But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It’s got a lot of heart, it’s really funny, and the best part is—it’s got a lot more Dory.”

According to the release, the film will take place a year after the end to the first film.

Also returning will be characters Marlin and Nemo.

Here's the press release:

BURBANK, Calif. (April 2, 2013) – When Dory said “just keep swimming” in 2003’s Oscar®-winning film “Finding Nemo,” she could not have imagined what was in store for her (not that she could remember). Ellen DeGeneres, voice of the friendly-but-forgetful blue tang fish, revealed details today about Disney•Pixar’s “Finding Dory”—an all-new big-screen adventure diving into theaters on Nov. 25, 2015.

“I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time,” said DeGeneres.

Director and Pixar veteran Andrew Stanton takes audiences back to the extraordinary underwater world created in the original film. “There is no Dory without Ellen,” said Stanton. “She won the hearts of moviegoers all over the world—not to mention our team here at Pixar. One thing we couldn’t stop thinking about was why she was all alone in the ocean on the day she met Marlin. In ‘Finding Dory,’ she will be reunited with her loved ones, learning a few things about the meaning of family along the way.”

According to Stanton, “Finding Dory” takes place about a year after the first film, and features returning favorites Marlin, Nemo and the Tank Gang, among others. Set in part along the California coastline, the story also welcomes a host of new characters, including a few who will prove to be a very important part of Dory’s life.

“Finding Nemo” won the 2003 Academy Award® for Best Animated Feature; the film was nominated for three additional Oscars® (Best Writing, Original Screenplay; Best Music, Original Score; Best Sound Editing). It was also nominated for a Golden Globe® Award for Best Motion Picture–Comedy or Musical. In 2008, the American Film Institute named “Finding Nemo” among the top 10 greatest animated films ever made. At the time of its release, “Finding Nemo” was the highest grossing G-rated movie of all time. It’s currently the fourth highest grossing animated film worldwide. The film has more than 16 million Likes on Facebook, and Dory—with more than 24 million—is the most Liked individual character from a Disney or Disney•Pixar film.

DeGeneres’ distinctive comic voice has resonated with audiences from her first stand-up comedy appearances through her work today on television, in film and in the literary world. Her syndicated talk show, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” is in its 10th season and has earned 38 Daytime Emmy® Awards. DeGeneres has won 12 People’s Choice Awards and the Teen Choice Award for Choice Comedian for three consecutive years. Additionally, her show won two Genesis Awards and a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Talk Show Episode. For her unforgettable turn as Dory, DeGeneres was nominated for an MTV Movie Award for Best Comedic Performance.

MTV Star's Truck Found Submerged In Mud, Likely Died Of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

Shain Gandee Buckwild MTV

On Monday, MTV confirmed that 21-year-old "Buckwild" star Shain Gandee was found dead in a vehicle in West Virginia after being reported missing over the weekend.

The situation surrounding the death was shrouded in mystery, but today TMZ is reporting Gandee "may have died from carbon monoxide poisoning," according to sources close to the death investigation.

Gandee's 1984 Bronco was found completely submerged in mud in the middle of nowhere with no cell phone reception.

The truck was so buried in mud that the exhaust pipe was submerged, causing carbon monoxide to be the likely cause of death for Gandee, his uncle, and a third unidentified person who were all in the vehicle at the time to go off-roading -- or as Gandee's hobby is dubbed on the MTV show, “mudding.”

"The photos seem to support the theory that the passengers died from carbon monoxide poisoning because the deadly fumes from the car could not escape through the tailpipe," explains TMZ of the below photos posted on their site.

Shain Gandee truck tmz photos

“I spoke with Shain’s father, who is devastated as you can imagine,” said "Buckwild" producer J.P. Williams, who reached out to the Gandee family by phone upon hearing the news. “But he said something that I thought was pretty profound, which is that his son died doing what he loved to do.”

While Gandee was not shooting the MTV reality show at the time of his death, production has been suspended as the network decides how to proceed.

“We’re taking a few weeks to give the cast a chance to get a handle on this because they’re devastated, and then we will all address where do you go from here,” confirmed Williams, adding that it's a decision that ultimately will be made by MTV.

And despite the MTV show bringing newfound fame to the 21-year-old West Virgina native, it didn't bring fortune.

Gandee's family is currently organizing a memorial "mud run" (an off-road trucking event) to ease the financial strain on Shain's family in the wake of the "Buckwild" star's death, reports TMZ.

"I know the strain they are going through," Gandee's cousin Ashley told TMZ. "It's hard to provide a proper burial. It's already tough with the loss of family members ... expenses are tough as well."

French 'Survivor' Doctor Commits Suicide Following Contestant's Death

Thierry Costa French survivor doctor

38-year-old Thierry Costa had been the staff doctor for French "Survivor" spin-off "Koh-Lanta" for the past four seasons, but he did not survive the media scrutiny following a seemingly healthy 25-year-old contestant's death just ten days ago.

Young contestant Gérald Babin died while competing in his first challenge on the first day of the French reality show after he suffered cardiac arrest during filming in Cambodia.

As a result, Costa, who had worked as a doctor for 20 years, felt his efforts were diminished by the press in what he called misleading stories.

"These past days, my name has been smeared in the media," Costa wrote in a handwritten suicide note describing how he was affected by the media coverage following the death of the contestant.

“Unjust accusations and assumptions have been made against me," he continued in the note published on Le Parisien's websitewhich he requested be made public. "I am sure I treated Gerald with respect as a patient and not as a contestant.”

Contestant Babin’s family announced Monday they will seek damages on the basis of “illegal conditions” and “breaches of health and safety,” according to their lawyer, who is seeking all of the footage from the production company as evidence.

"French authorities have also opened a preliminary investigation into the circumstances surrounding his treatment and death, and may pursue manslaughter charges," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Dr. Costa's note, which he wanted made public, was left on the below hotel stationary:

The show's production company Adventure Line Productions (ALP) said in a statement Thursday: "We have learned with dismay that Dr. Thierry Costa passed away in Cambodia today. His high level of professionalism and humanity towards participants and production teams has always been unanimously recognized.”

Moviegoer Gets Refund After 3-Second Explosion In Tom Cruise Trailer Didn't Make The Actual Movie

jack reacher

After seeing Tom Cruise's latest movie in theaters, a New Zealand film goer filed a complaint of misleading advertising with the country's ad standards authority. And the film's maker, Paramount, is going to refund him the cost of his movie ticket, reports The Telegraph.

According to the movie fan, an explosion sequence that appeared in the trailer for 'Jack Reacher' did not happen in the actual film. It was "the defining part of the ad that made me really want to go see the movie," said the fan.

Paramount retorted, saying that while the explosion in the trailer was not in the film, this was a "usual and long-standing practice in the film industry."

Paramount also pointed out that the explosion was "a single split-second element omitted from a 130-minute long action film."

The explosion in question takes place between 2:10 and 2:13 of the trailer below. If you blink you'll probably miss it.

Avicii Says His GQ Profile Makes His Fans Look Like Drug Addicts And Jerks

0
0

Avicii DJ Sundance

Avicii is one of the biggest DJs in the world, commands six figures when he plays to huge crowds at the biggest night clubs and electronic music festivals, which is enough to earn a profile in GQ. Except he hates that profile and is fighting back against it.

Tim Bergling, the 23-year-old Swedish bro known as Avicii to his millions of fans, is one of the bigger DJs operating within the vast world of Electronic Dance Music. GQ's writer, Jessica Pressler, followed Bergling and his "bodyman," Felix Alfonso, for the week leading up to his New Year's Eve show at the Las Vegas club XS, collecting plaudits from his fans like Pharrel and Paris Hilton.

But Bergling doesn't like how he, or his music scene, come across in the article. "I would normally not even care but this article really got to me, how it could even be published with so little truth and misquotations," he posted today on Twitlonger. His biggest complaints about the article: it makes his fans out to be bunch of drug addicts, it catches him saying what he does isn't that hard, and it suggests he thinks his fans are a bunch of douchebags.

And, the piece does indeed contain some pretty nasty quotes about the EDM scene. First, he allegedly said that what he does 250 nights a year for $250,000 pay checks isn't that hard:

I guess I think like deep inside, I know that it's like, it's a different kind of performing, it's not really... You're not performing like a guitar player or a singer is performing, you know what I mean? So it's weird to be in the same type setup as one of those. 'Cause I'm not really doing much, you know, like technically it's not that hard.

And secondly, he called out older DJs for, well, for being better DJs than he is in the most technical of senses:

Thanks to computers, these days, DJing is mostly "before work," Tim explains. Most of the set list and transitions are worked out before he gets onstage. The notion of a DJ who determines what to play by reading the room "feels like something a lot of older DJs are saying to kind of desperately cling on staying relevant."

Pressler pressed him on this, asking what he's doing up there for two or three hours smiling, dancing, pushing buttons with vigor, looking busy and working a crowd. "Yeah, it's mostly volume," he told her. "Or the faders, when you're starting to mix into another song, you can hear both in your headphones, you get it to where you want and you pull up the fader." That's it. That was his explanation.

This prompted a response from at least one of the older DJs in the EDM world. A-Trak -- the Canadian DJ who commands the same pay checks and plays a lot of the same clubs who won world DJing championships when he was 15 years old, back in 1997 -- raised the issue over the weekend on Twitter

So there's an Avicii article in GQ where he says his sets are completely pre-planned & reading the crowd is a thing of the past. He also complains about opening djs who play the same big songs from his set—which are the same songs everyone else plays. So if I understand correctly, DJs should be robots and each pre-planned robot should know their place...? By the way I think @avicii makes great music. Sincerely. But if you play the same thing every night you're not a DJ. Dudes live in a bubble, they think what they hear in bottle service clubs and festivals is djing. That's just entertainment.

Another prominent EDM DJ, Laidback Luke, said, "Wow that's scary stuff. You won't be able to play the best set that fits the night, it's missing a chance," prompting A-Trak to respond, "These guys need to go to DJ boot camp."

That's appears to be when Avicii picked up that his peers were turning on him and chose to respond. "I didnt say any of that, its all out of context and phrased in a way that make me sound oblivious," he protested. "So tell us what you mean, Tim..." A-Trak asked. Then we didn't hear from Avicii again, until now. This was his response

How on earth the fact that I complain when an opening DJ plays some of the peak time tracks I usually play somewhere in my set becomes the conclusion that I only touch volume faders is beyond me and even though I could beat mix in my sleep doesn't allude any kind of respect which I find deeply insulting. I would never lay down a pre-programmed set and performed to a pre-mixed CD, I would never cheat my fans like that. Period. For the record, the only planning I do is check transitions so that I don't have to pre-program anything and still make sure I bring it to my fans. A lot of work and thinking goes into my DJing. I want the entire night to progress seamlessly and when I have to adapt the energy on the fly for the crowd on any given night, I can do so with harmonic mixes that I've practiced over and over again. I am far from the only DJ that does this and it's something I take pride in being able to do. Truth is that at bigger festivals or solo shows I know what people want to hear and my set is a compromise between what I want to play for them and what people come and expect to hear me play for them. At a smaller club show I can wing it completely.

The criticism of major EDM DJs being little more than button-pushers is not new, but this particular instance seems to have irked Avicii. Although, most of that paragraph sounds a bit like rocket science to the uninitiated because, well, it's a lot of technical DJing talk mixed with Avicii's loose handling of the English language. And immediately after dropping all of that technical defense of his work, he admitted this

Some people are known for certain things, some DJs like A-trak, Steve Angello and Laidback Luke are excellent technical DJs, something I will never be, and have a whole different approach to their performances.

So... uh. Right. He's a very technical DJ when facing criticism for not doing much while performing but he is not a technical DJ when honoring his elderly peers he just insulted. Got it? It's not confusing at all. Avicii's fans aren't pleased with the profile either. They've started attacking Pressler on Twitter:

Besides all of that, Avicii didn't like how Pressler made him or EDM fans who go out to clubs and get bottle service and fist pump to the tight beats sound like complete douchebags. In her defense, it wasn't hard. The douchebaggery was on full display:

"You're sticking with us through New Year's Eve?" Felix asks me. "You'll see what we're all about."

"We'll do some showers," Tim says.

"We'll get ten bottles of champagne and we spray it, we have a war," Felix clarifies, seeing my blank look.

But Tim is having second thoughts. "It's a bit douchey," he says. "It's very douchey."

"Just blame it on me," Felix offers magnanimously. "I'll be a douche."

More douchiness:

"Did you shave his eyebrows? The rule is when someone gets drunk you shave their eyebrows," says Felix. "When we get out of the club, let's go and TP his car," he adds, as we board the private plane. Everyone agrees this is an awesome idea.

He also took issue with the implication EDM fans do a lot of drugs, even though it's a fairly common understanding that EDM is synonymous with "molly," or MDMA, a form of Ecstacy. Pressler asked him about the drug while travelling with his crew:

Tim has never taken the Drug Formerly Known As Ecstasy, which is sort of odd since MDMA is to EDM what cocaine was to disco. "I mean, I want to take it," he says the next day, eating a layover hamburger on the way to Vegas. "But I'm sort of afraid of anything that makes you feel out of control."

Ya burnt.

A clip from Tru TV's "Killer Karaoke" was recently brought to our attention and we feel it is our duty to pass on the nightmare-inducing video.

If you aren't familiar with the format, "Killer Karaoke" — hosted by "Jackass" star Steve-O and Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider — features contestants attempting to sing in front of a live studio audience while various attempts are made to disrupt their performances.

Some past challenges have included singing while being danced on by two sweaty 500-pound strippers, getting attacked and bitten by a series of guard dogs while wearing a padded suit and trying to sing while wearing shock collars and bracelets.

And then there's the snake tank. Watch below.

Judd Apatow Leslie Mann Malibu Home

Director Judd Apatow and his hilarious wife actress Leslie Mann have just purchased a Malibu Colony home together for $10.825 million, according to real estate blog Trulia.

Property records show the deal was closed between the A-list power couple and Prudential California Realty at the end of last month.

Trulia reports that the 1930's bungalow was previously owned by the late "Pretty Woman" producer Laura Ziskin, and features a gourmet kitchen, courtyard entry, four bedrooms, and expansive views of their beach-side property.

Trulia also points out that this is not the first California home for the family — Apatow and Mann have previously purchased a lot in Santa Monica, a home in Brentwood, and Apatow still owns another Beverly Hills pad.

Welcome to the Apatow/Mann family's new Malibu Colony Road home.
