Well, we hope you didn't waste money on the bare-bones 8-disc Blu-Ray set.
Now that the "Harry Potter" series is officially over with the recent release of the final DVD, its time to break out the big bucks to buy the entire film collection.
However, if you're going to want a piece of Hogwarts, Warner Brothers is really going to make you spend your money.
Currently, Amazon is taking orders on the "Harry Potter Wizards Collection" 31-disc box set. The entire series is listed at a whopping $499.99. However, if you pre-order now, you can get the series at a special discount for $349.99. (What a steal.)
Is it worth the money? According to Amazon, the set boasts over five hours of never before seen special features and extended versions of the films.
Here are Amazon's details of what comes in the box set:
18 movie discs
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone Theatrical Version and Extended Cut
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Theatrical Version and Extended Cut
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 2D and 3D Versions
13 Special feature discs
Includes multiple specially-produced, collectible memorabilia items, including concept art, a Map of Hogwarts and much more!
Well, I've always wanted a Marauder's Map. However, until they toss in an invisibility cloak, we're not buying.
In case you're still not convinced, Amazon even put out a video for the collector's item.
The set opens up like some elaborate jewelry box. So, if you're into wizards chests, or jewelry, you can always store your stash in some of the secret compartments.
The Potter jewelry box—er, DVD box—is by far the most expensive and intricate box set we've seen. The only collection that comes close is the six-season 36-disc Blu-ray box set of Lost at $279.99. However, even that is currently marked down to $188.99.
There's no specific release date for the set, just a "2012 release."
