Khloe Kardashian made her debut as co-host of the Fox singing show "The X Factor" last night, and she was great.
She was a little bit apprehensive early on, but by the end of the show he had clearly become the alpha-host, reducing co-host Mario Lopez to a bit player.
As we saw on the last season of "The X Factor," hosting a live singing show is harder than it looks. You have to keep the show moving without seeming rammy, and you have to ask the judges and contestants questions that solicit cliche-free answers.
Khloe did that. Her best moment came after Simon Cowell ripped poor Willie Jones to shreds, and told his mentor Demi Lovato that the song choice was all wrong. Khloe pushed back at Simon, asking him exactly what he would have done differently, and Simon had nothing to say and started squirming in his chair.
Hopefully she doesn't get yelled at for putting the show's biggest star on the spot, because this moment was great.
Say what you will about the Kardashian clan, but Khloe is good at this.
