A four-second-long video of a girl kicking herself in the face spread like wildfire last week. This week, though, it's a lengthy 18-minute animated piece that's taken the Internet by storm.
Mark Parsons thought it was about time for a man to step up and write some fan fiction about One Direction.
(For those not in the know, One Direction is a hugely popular boy band from the UK.)
Parsons, who also happens to be the lead animator for popular FX show Archer, took his self-imposed challenge a step further by writing, animating, and voicing an 18-minute cartoon centered around the British-Irish boy band. The result is a fun, pun-filled tribute to the Power Rangers, Star Wars, and The Beatles.
