During a serious segment on eye tests for senior citizens, this Norwegian news program displayed an eye test chart full of Internet abbreviations.
According to The Local, producers for Norway's NRK nightly news program received the graphic from one of their stock picture suppliers but failed to notice the number of slang abbreviations it contained.
Instead of a jumble of letters that you'd find during a routine eye test, viewers were provided with a chart containing well known Internet slang phrases such as "OMG," "WTF," and "STFU."
Which celebrity, athlete, media mogul or politician would you be willing to drop big bucks for in exchange for a hang out sesh?
It appears that when it comes to the one-percent's discretionary dollars at high-priced charity auctions, President Bill Clinton is king but Oprah, Elton, Gaga and other one-name wonders aren't far behind.
In charitybuzz's "Top 25 of 2011," see which popular, high profile people (and some super randoms!) are the biggest draw for those holding the bidding paddles.

When there was an unexpected problem with the photographs taken on the LA set visit, they were given the chance to visit the set in Las Vegas where the final photographs were taken, and where they had another amazing nine hours on set!
23. $23,000: Make your film debut with a walk-on role in Neighborhood Watch, starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill, and meet Ben Stiller on set to benefit the Stiller Foundation.
I think there's something emotionally aspirational around that family dynamic and visually aspirational about the way that family lives...
From every piece of research I've seen, people aspire to be them or to befriend them.
We were guessing it was more about watching how that 72-day marriage fell apart.
With much of the programming being marathon re-runs of the family's shows, it's no surprise that Kolb admits the network never seriously considered canceling any of the Kardashian shows, despite the backlash that followed word of Kim's divorce earlier this year.
But!
For those of you who can't take it anymore, there's a chance you'll be watching less of them soon -- E! plans to develop and pilot original scripted programming next year.
"I love Ron Paul. I liked him a lot during the last republican nomination and no one gave him a chance. If he wins the nomination for the Republican party in 2012 he's got my vote. Too bad he probably won't."
Hmm.
To be fair, Clarkson admitted via tweet that she was unaware of the recent controversy surrounding the GOP candidate.
Clarkson was quickly on the receiving end of A LOT angry tweets -- here's a look at some of the back-and-forth from her Twitter feed:

Eventually, Clarkson put an end to the arguing with this plea to her Twitter followers:
"Man my eyes have been opened to so much hate tonight. If y'all ever disagree with something I say please don't feel the need to attack me. I will listen to what you say and any articles or viewpoints you have when you say it with respect. Being hateful is not a healthy way to get people to see or hear you. I was raised to respect people and their decisions and beliefs and I hope you will grant me the same decency. If you don't agree with me simply unfollow me. It's really that easy. I hope you don't because I would love the chance to hear what you have to say but if you're so blinded by hate you can't seek peace and progress then that is your unfortunate prerogative."
There were some blockbuster celebrity purchases in 2011, starting with the new L.A. bachelor pad of former-Friends star Matthew Perry.
The still-single Perry purchased a slick midcentury home in the Hollywood Hills complete with infinity pool, outdoor living room, fanciful sculptures, a $27,000 Australian-made garage door.
This place might have the single coolest media room of all time, with a screen that raises to reveal views of city lights and a perspex portal that peers into the pool. Perry paid,$8.65 million, more than $1 million off the asking price. For more celeb scoops, check out the gallery above.
Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen have been trying in vain to unload their high-dollar Boston condo, but have pressed ahead in the construction of this massive mansion in Brentwood, Calif. Estimated cost: $20 million.
Twangy pop star Taylor Swift bought a couple of homes this year: a modestly-sized L.A. colonial for $3.35 million and this Greek Revival mansion in Nashville, Tenn. for $2.5M. The stately home was built by U.S. ambassador to Denmark Guilford Dudley Jr. back in 1934.
Debra Messing, recently separated from her husband of a decade, is reportedly dating her "Smash" co-star Will Chase. She should be billing NBC for the free publicity.
Congratulations, Michael Jordan! He's engaged to Yvette Prieto. The wedding's dress code will presumably be Hanes tees casual.

Olivia Wilde and Zoe Saldana are both taken: Saldana is dating Bradley Cooper and Wilde is with Jason Sudeikis.
In a pledge to reduce public spending, Romney announced that some government subsidized programing had to go -- calling out the Corporation of Public Broadcasting as an example.
But don't worry, the grandfather of 16 assured constituents that he isn't a monster (and not of the cookie eating variety).
Romney's rationale: "is a program so critical that it's worth borrowing money from China to pay for it?"
Now on to the big questions: is Cookie Monster going to be eating Chips Ahoy! or Famous Amos? When asking, "Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street?", should one consult a Garmin or a Magellan?
Keith Olbermann, who began his much-publicized tenure at Al Gore's Current TV this summer is apparently already on the outs with management there.
So much so, he is reportedly being left out of upcoming election coverage specials.
Brian Stelter at the New York Times writes that Olbermann will be notably absent from Current's upcoming two hours specials on the Iowa caucus and New Hampshire primary.
Instead they will be hosted by Cenk Uygur and former Michigan governor Jennifer Granholm with appearances by Al Gore, who the NYT notes, usually stays behind the scenes at Current.
Olbermann, who was hired to revamp the network, has a history of contentious relations with his employers. He unceremoniously departed MSNBC last January after falling out with the network. A month later it was announced he was moving to Al Gore's Current TV where he was named Chief News Officer, received equity in the company along with a rumored high seven figure paycheck, and launched a show this June.
The NYT reports Olbermann may not be fully aware of Current's political coverage plans. He tells Stelter his show is set to air live on Tuesday, the night of the Iowa Caucus, even though Current's TV schedule says it will be pre-empted by their caucus special.
Joe joined BI three years ago. From the get-go, we have been blown away by his talent, mastery of the medium, and extraordinary work ethic.
As Deputy Editor, in addition to writing prolifically, Joe oversees our economics, markets, politics, and general business coverage. His newsroom leadership has played a big role in the success of Business Insider as a whole.
It is great to see Joe's work recognized outside the company. And the honor is especially impressive given some of the other excellent journalists at The New York Times, CNBC, NPR, and elsewhere who were considered for the award.
Please join me in congratulating Joe and thanking Talking Biz News.
And, on behalf of all of us, let me also take this opportunity to thank all of you, our readers and community, for an amazing 2011. We wish you all the best for 2012!
[Joe Weisenthal's] impact has been dramatic for the evolving future of business journalism.
Weisenthal, who represents a new wave of how business journalism is presented, is a multi-platform user who pays close attention to the stock market and the economic data that is impacting its ups and downs. The sheer volume of the news and information he produces each day for his readers is amazing.
He posts on Business Insider at least a dozen times a day, and he is a major user of Twitter using the handle “The Stalwart.” He has more than 14,000 followers on Twitter and has tweeted nearly 50,000 times. Earlier this year, The New York Observer wrote, “Joe’s a one-man news wire who can sell a story like no other. It’s a freak talent and a rare find.”

Josh Brown, a New York investment banker who writes the Reformed Broker blog, wrote Wednesday that Weisenthal is “the most unlikely blogger to be going toe to toe with Fed watchers, Krugman haters, derivatives experts and currency wonks is doing exactly that. And there’s no need to search the web when news breaks or data is released — because Joe always has it first, even when the government’s servers have crashed from the traffic. Watching The Stalwart’s evolution this past year has been pretty special.”
He’s also revered by his readers for admitting when he is wrong and for providing news in a way that explains its significance. In July, dozens of them came to his defense when someone posted on Business Insider that he should be fired.
Weisenthal begins each morning between 4 a.m. and 5 p.m., announcing to the world that he’s on the prowl with a tweet that simply states, “What did I miss?” And he typically announces when the major market news of the day has come and gone with a tweet that says, “Day’s over.”
One of his co-workers told Talking Biz News about how excited Weisenthal gets covering news. For example, before economic data comes out he starts drumming on his desk and does this countdown thing (“60 seconds….30 seconds…15 seconds…”) followed by silence while he posts the story and then a delayed sound effect such as “KaBoom!”
It's been a year filled with small screen shake-ups, celebrity cheating scandals and divorces, and movie re-makes that just won't go away.
And the Kardashians.
MTV scared us. Donald Trump kept yelling. Brett Ratner offended everyone. And Ryan Gosling won you over.
Here's a look at who had a great year...and who didn't.

His sophomore debut, "Take Care" was one of the year's most anticipated and successful albums -- debuting at the top of the Billboard 200, garnering critical praise, and making our own 20 Best Albums of 2011.
He's also been linked to Rihanna and Nicki Minaj, which doesn't hurt.
In a statement to the Daily News, the show's executive producer Scott Weinberger says:
“On behalf of ‘On The Case’s’ production team, we have been impressed with Joe Halderman’s professional accomplishments as an Emmy award-winning producer for ‘48 Hours’ and CBS News...With the network’s prior approval, the team has brought Halderman on as a producer for ‘On The Case.’ We are confident that Halderman will make significant contributions to the success of our award-winning investigative newsmagazine.”

2011 was filled with scandals: Sheen, Lohan, Kardashian.
But now it's a new year, and the slate is wiped clean -- at least for a few hours.
And if those stars can keep their records spotless, we'll forget about their horrible years altogether.
Don't believe us? Just check out these once-huge scandals you've completely forgot about.
