You were probably too busy watching the Grammy Awards on Sunday night to even realize that the the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards were also going on at the same time.
The BAFTA Awards, held at the Royal Opera House, are essentially the Academy Awards of the U.K.
Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, George Clooney, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Lawrence and the rest of this year's usual-suspect nominees all flew across the pond to attend the prestigious awards ceremony.
See who won and who wore what.
"ARGO" won Best Film. Best Director winner Ben Affleck and producers George Clooney and Grant Heslov are on-hand to accept the award.

Ben Affleck whispered sweet nothings into George Clooney's ear.
Folks in Montana were shocked when their regularly scheduled programming was interrupted by emergency broadcast warning them of a zombie apocalypse.
“The bodies of the dead are rising from their graves and are attacking the living,” the emergency announcer said on local TV station KRTV. “Do not attempt to approach or apprehend these bodies, as they are considered extremely dangerous.”
Some locals got scared and called the police, the AP reported.
Someone apparently hacked into the Emergency Alert System and announced on KRTV and the CW that "dead bodies are rising from their graves" in several Montana counties.
This message did not originate from KRTV, and there is no emergency.
Our engineers are investigating to determine what happened and if it affected other media outlets.
In the first "Die Hard" movie, and in all subsequent installments, Bruce Willis plays John McClane, a stubborn cop who is constantly battling an army of bad guys.
But in all the gun battles, you rarely see the bad guys fall to the ground gushing blood.
That type of dramatized, bloodless violence in "Die Hard" could have harmful effects on kids who see it, one expert told Nocera.
“Watching violence makes kids feel they can use violence to solve a problem. It brings increased feelings of hostility. It increases desensitization," University of Wisconsin professor emerita of communications Joanne Cantor told Nocera.
But it appears experts are divided on the effects of violent media. A 2011 NPR investigation into the effects of violent video games found experts disagreed on whether it actually caused kids to become more violent.
"Playing violent video games probably will not turn your child into a psychopathic killer but I would want to know how the child treats his or her parents, how they treat their siblings, how much compassion they have," Ohio State University social psychologist Brad Bushman told NPR.
Corey's life consists playing drums at Venice Beach, DJing, and partying with "Hispanic girls with bangs and thrift-store outfits, and white guys who dance while wearing fedoras!"
He also notes, "This year I was in 14 commercials and I was also the one black guy in a college brochure!"

"I'm the quirky guy with the glasses. Not the guy who's going to be in a fight. I seem like the type guys want to hang out with. I'm the one acceptable black friend."
The ad business is often accused of being racist, and Reeves' career is in some ways the anecdotal proof: How else to explain why, with thousands of other black actors available for work, one man booked all that work with the same look and the same style?
Reeves told Adweek he's also often the only black person on a shoot:
"Agency, client and crew all seem to be white. I am usually the only black person on set, or one of three, say, and I have PA'd for more than 100 commercials. There are so few people of color working as copywriters, ADs, directors, DPs and producers that when I see one, it seems weird, but good."

Taylor Swift claims "I never chase boys." The singer continued to Elle magazine, “I’m sure if I looked up the latest Google Alerts rumor it would say I’m chasing somebody who doesn’t like me as much as I like him – people love that angle on me."
Dressed in a tuxedo and looking the part of young music mogul, Ukrainian TV host and prankster Vitalii Sediuk weasled his way onto the stage during Sunday night's Grammy Awards.
"It’s such an honor to receive this award,” and “I love you, Adele,” Sediuk managed to say quickly before a confused Jennifer Lopezswatted him away.
After Sediuk walked off the stage, he was grabbed by Grammy's security and held until LAPD took him away to spend the night in a jail cell.
Sediuk now has a March 4 court date for the charge of trespassing.
Watch the Grammy crasher in action below:
Sediuk sat down with The Hollywood Reporter Monday to explain his prank, saying "I'm not a crazy guy, I just think differently."
The TV host continued, “My channel didn’t get credentialed, so I went with friends who had tickets. They didn’t check how many we had, so I was let in. First I went to the media line and interviewed quite a few celebrities, like Jennifer Lopez and Nicole Kidman ...Then I just followed one girl in a green dress through the [Staples Center] gates. They checked my pockets but never asked to see a ticket."
One thing led to another and Sediuk found himself on-stage next to his "favorite singer" Adele.

Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, one half of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's youngest set of twins, is set to star opposite her mother in Disney's "Maleficent."
And the four-year-old doesn't come cheap.
"According to a minor's contract filed with the court, little Viv commands $3,000/week!" reports TMZ.
On top of that, Vivienne will also reportedly receive a per diem of $60/day to play the role of "Young Aurora," the child version of Elle Fanning's Princess Aurora.
"Maleficent" is a live-action reimagining of the fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty" told from the perspective of the horned villainess, played by Angelina Jolie.
The 3-D film also stars Juno Temple, Sam Riley, Brenton Thwaites, India Eisley, Miranda Richardson and Kenneth Cranham and is slated for a March 2014 release.
"It's a really great script, and I'm having a lot of fun," Jolie told Entertainment Weekly in March 2012, three months before shooting began. "I've already got my horns fitted. My kids are very happy."
Fellow Brangelina kids Pax and Zahara are also rumored to have small roles in the film, though no word on their paycheck just yet.
Check out Jolie as the titular role in "Maleficent" below:
"Storage Wars" star Mark Balelo was found dead Monday of apparent suicide from carbon monoxide poisoning.
TMZ reports Balelo was found dead in his car that was left running in the garage of his California auction house today.
The 40-year-old, was arrested Saturday for suspected methamphetamine possession and had a court date later this month, according to RadarOnline.
Balelo has been in and out of jail since pleading guilty to a felony charge for the sale or transport of a controlled substance in 2009 and a subsequent probation violation in 2011.
Anne Hathaway is up for an Academy Award for her role as Fantine — a prostitute with a heart of gold — in this year's "Les Misérables."
But before Hathaway filled Fantine's bustier, a number of Hollywood's top actresses were vying for the role.
Among them, Scarlett Johansson, who was previously rumored to be in the running for the role of Eponine — which ended up going to newcomer Samantha Barks.
Johansson recently opened up to Broadway.com, which asked the actress whether she had auditioned for the part.
"Yes, I did. I sang my little heart out," the 28-year-old "Avengers" actress revealed for the first time.
But there was one hitch: "I auditioned with laryngitis ... I did everything I could to, like, not have laryngitis."
Not that she was nervous about it, adding "The jazz hands kid inside me was just over the moon!"
But, alas, Johansson has come to accept that the role wasn't meant to be.
"I think, looking at the film now, there's no possible way I ever could have topped that performance [by Anne Hathaway]," she explains. "It was perfect and I think fateful and meant to be."

But it did remind her of auditioning for the role of Cosette when she was a child and "it was fun for me to revisit that," she says.
Johansson is currently channeling her younger stage actress self on Broadway in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof."
"Lucky for me, it all worked out," she continued to Broadway.com. "It’s great to be back. It’s very exciting to have the opportunity to bring Tennessee Williams to life every night and share that with the audience, who’ve been really enthusiastic."

Facebook went public, Marissa Mayer joined Yahoo, laws changed to foster new industries, enterprise startups got hot, and billion-dollar companies were formed and acquired.
Now, after months of research, debate, and more research, we're happy to present the latest installment of the Silicon Valley 100, Business Insider's authoritative compilation of the people who did the coolest things in Silicon Valley this year. That means people who:
backed promising companies and saw big exits;
were star executives;
created new, interesting things;
changed entire industries;
and made industry-defining acquisitions or took their companies public.
In sum, these people aren't riding on old reputations. All of them did something amazing in 2012, and they won big. A big shout-out to everyone named in the list: You earned it. And if you feel that we missed someone? Tell us—we're not all-knowing, and we love telling stories about amazing people.
Why am I starting to get the impression that if you are a soft drink, beer, or mobile phone manufacturer, there is now some uber-imperative that you have to shell out millions and millions of dollars to get a Pop/Country/Rap Star, SI Swimsuit Cover Girl, or ex-Jersey Shore cast member to sign on as your “Brand Ambassador," "Creative Director," “Grand Poobah," or whatever you think will pull the chain of the great unwashed?
As fellow Business Insider writer Laura Stampler pointed out last week, Justin Timberlake has just been appointed Creative Director of Bud Light Platinum. What responsibilities this will entail, I have no idea, although he will undoubtedly be handsomely rewarded.
Then I read an Anheuser-Busch press release explaining that Mr. Timberlake will provide “creative, musical and cultural creation.” As he sipped a glass of the boringly tasteless libation he is now pimping, Mr. Timberlake offered that, “Bud Light Platinum brings a refined, discerning aesthetic to beer that plays well with what I'm doing.”
Ah, yes indeed, that’s obviously worth a few million dollars. Unfortunately, there appears to be no word yet from the current Creative Director for Bud Light, “Pitbull,” regarding his aesthetic curation activities.
In the last few weeks we’ve seen deals signed between Alicia Keys and Blackberry, Taylor Swift and Diet Coke—who have also signed kilt wearing fashion designer, Marc Jacobs, obviously in an effort to take over the Scottish market. And breaking the booze, mobile phone pattern, we recently had will-i-am being hired as the “Director of Creative Innovation” for chip company Intel. At the press conference announcing this momentous occasion, Mr. i-am declared, “I am not a race car driver, but the content I create races round the Internet. It’s racing through you right now.” Profound indeed! No doubt we can look forward to “will-i-am-inside.”
However, in the Ka-ching curation stakes, everyone is running a poor second behind Beyonce with her $50 MILLION deal with Pepsi. Too bad she wasn’t around back in the early 1980s when Steve Jobs asked the famous question of John Sculley, when he was CMO of Pepsi and Steve was trying to convince him to join Apple: “Do you want to sell sugar water for the rest of your life, or do you want to come with me and change the world?”
Unfortunately, besides his incessant championing of the “Newton,” which was about 20 years ahead of its time, Sculley couldn’t hold a tune, and his legs came nowhere close to Beyoncé. Absolute proof there’s more money in sugar water than nerdy technology.

There's no set release date for Microsoft's Xbox 720, but there are a lot of new rumors out about it.
The most recent come from Kotaku which published an extensive report revealing a goldmine of details on the new console being developed under the codename, Durango.
Among the biggest claims is that the console will only be released in one installment with 500 GB of storage. That's double the Xbox 360 Elite's 250GB storage.
The system will also require it's motion detector sensing Kinect technology in order to function. Kotaku reports you won't need to buy the Kinect separately as it will ship with the new console.
Highlights of the Xbox's future console include:
The Kinect will be able to track up to six players at the same time in place of one.
Players will be to offer Siri-like voice commands to the game console through the Kinect.
With 500GB of storage, players will be able to install games from discs meaning fewer load time.
Multi-tasking. Users will be able to run multiple apps at once, meaning players will be able to go fluidly from one game to another with a quick pause.
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view. Now, if one version of the console will be released, then there has to be a standard price.
Rumors last month pegged the new Xbox at between $350 and $400.
If the gaming console also comes with the Kinect, the system will most likely steer toward the higher end of the spectrum if not more.
A 250GB standalone Xbox 360 console currently sells for $299.
The Kinect by itself is available for $90 right now, while a 4GB Xbox 360 with Kinect will costs $299.
Yesterday, Microsoftreleased stats revealing they have sold more than 76 million Xbox consoles and 24 million Kinect sensors.
We wouldn't even be surprised to see the new Xbox with a price tag close to $500.
However, consumers begin to get wary when prices get above the $400 range.
Microsoft's most expensive version of its gaming console—the Xbox 360 Elite with 120GB was originally released in April 2007 at $479 before quickly dropping to $449.
When the PlayStation 3 debuted in November 2006 with a built in Blu-Ray, two console versions with differing storage were released at $499 and $599.

"We are disappointed that photographs of the Duke and Duchess on a private holiday look likely to be published overseas," a spokesman for the couple at St. James's Palace tells People magazine. "This is a clear breach of the couple's right to privacy."
The photos are also expected to be printed in a yet to be named U.S. tabloid magazine.
It’s not yet known whether St. James’s Palace will take legal action against the publication.
