mark-ruffaloMark Ruffalo says he signed a deal to play The Hulk in six films.

The actor, who plays the scientist-turned monster in "The Avengers," told Collider he's set to reprise his character in a multi-contract deal.

Sure, the Hulk will most likely appear in the next "Iron Man" and "Captain America" sequels. However, this basically means we're getting another "Hulk" film.

Forbes has already hinted at an expected release date for 2015. There's even talk of big green as a potential corporate icon.

Yes, it's a bit strange that we'll most likely see Dr. Bruce Banner solo on the big screen yet again, given the failed 2003 release "Hulk" with Eric Bana and the more recent 2008 flick "The Incredible Hulk" featuring Edward Norton. However, Ruffalo's been receiving a lot of praise for his portrayal.

Personally, we enjoyed Norton's take along with many others. The film fared well at theaters as well, earning $263.4 million worldwide

For Marvel, it makes sense—"The Avengers" is dominating overseas, grossing $218.2 million to date and audiences are responding well to Ruffalo.

Bottom line: No matter how great of a performance Ruffalo gives, a third Hulk film is as tiresome as Sony's rebirth of the Spider-man franchise and the impending reboot of the Batman franchise once Nolan's trilogy closes this summer.

The Avengers" comes out Friday, but right now, everyone's talking about the new "Dark Knight Rises" trailer. Check it out>
