Last night, former "American Idol" runner-up David Archuleta announced that he will be completing a full mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He said, it's "not because that I no longer want to do music anymore, but it's because it's the feeling that I felt that I need to do next in my life."
Archuleta grew up in Utah outside of Salt Lake City.
There's no way he can complete his mission in the United States, so who knows where he'll go?
Another idea: we know a way he can combine Mormonism and music...and be on Broadway.
