Late Thursday night, the Huffington Post found Occupy Wall Street protestors disrupting a "Law & Order: SVU" shoot they felt was making light of their cause.
"SVU," which often relies on recent news phenoms to fuel its storylines, was shooting an episode at a Manhattan set on which they'd elaborately recreated the Zuccotti Park encampment.
And we do mean elaborately: tents, food, signs reading "Stop Economic Rape."
Protestors raided the site, and were promptly kicked out by police, around 1 a.m.
Later, series producer Warren Leight tweeted that the scene the invaders ruined was one that would have portrayed them sympathetically -- but his tweets, according to HuffPo, have since been deleted.
