It wasn't a scene in "Modern Family," but it could have been Friday night as cast mates Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet documented an entire hour they were stuck in an elevator together.
The three ABC sitcom stars were on their way to a charity event for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City when their crowded service elevator at the Sheraton Hotel jammed on the third floor.
And that's when they took to Twitter and Vine to document the experience.
At first, everything was going as planned as actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson tweeted:
