Tom Cruise told MTV that a "Top Gun" sequel is in the works -- they just need a story. (Isn't that always the problem?)
It's kind of a weird -- or genius -- development considering the original "Top Gun" is slated to have another theatrical release.
Hey, who knows -- maybe Cruise just got confused about how "Top Gun" is coming back into our lives.
But if we were him, we'd want to talk about just about anything this week to distract from the claims that Indian actors were paid to clap and cheer for him at the Mumbai premiere of "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol."
