Celebrities were very outspoken about gun control in the aftermath of the Newtown shooting last month.

Late December, many joined together to create a video for the "Demand a Plan" campaign.

The movement's goal is to get Congress to pass legislation that will require gun buyers to pass criminal background checks and get military-style assault weapons off the streets.

Soon after, someone uploaded a mock video to YouTube pointing out that the very same actors and actresses backing the campaign have appeared on screen with guns.

More than 50 celebrities appear in the video including Cameron Diaz, Jessica Alba, and Jamie Foxx.

Not all of the celebrities in the video have appeared in films with guns and not all of the them are actors on the big screen.

Instead, some of them are comedians and television stars, including Aziz Ansari, Sarah Silverman, and Conan O'Brien, who have all added the topics of guns and shootings to their arsenal of jokes.

The question posed by the video suggests celebrities endorsing gun control should also stop brandishing weapons in violent films and television shows.

Jamie Foxx appears in the video recounting the Columbine shooting in 1999.

Foxx's latest film "Django Unchained" celebrates him as "the fastest gun in the South."

Jessica Alba asks how many lives it will take to make a change.
