During a Ford-sponsored drive of the 2013 Fiesta in California last week, we stopped at Camarillo Airport for a bit of track driving on an empty runway. Plenty of planes flew overhead and landed nearby, but none were as interesting at the old shell parked next to us.
Airport employees told us the 1960 Convair 240-5 once belonged to Cary Grant, and that it was waiting to be renovated. Looks like a lot of work.
