- After "Skyfall" just became the highest grossing film in James Bond history — currently at $669 million globally — Sony Pictures has hit the $4 billion mark for 2012. Its previous high was $3.6 billion in 2009. Special thanks go out to Sony's other big films of the year: "The Amazing Spider-Man," "Men in Black 3," "Hotel Transylvania," and "21 Jump Street."
- ABCcancelled new shows "666 Park Ave" and "Last Resort." Both shows will finish out their 13-episode seasons.
