Black Friday has nothing—well, almost nothing—on this YouTube footage of a massive group of teens brawling over rumors that hip hop stars Drake and Lil Wayne would perform at Mall of America.
Things got violent around 4 p.m. last Monday when 20 or so teens started fighting in the food court.
The violence escalated to 200 individuals, say some witnesses, and spread to other parts of the mall, causing several stores to close as a result.
Neither artist was slated to perform and Bloomington police arrested nine teens, according to New York Daily News. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
"There were drinks thrown on the floor and chairs being thrown everywhere," witness Tess Dessalgne told Minneapolis' KARE-TV. "Everyone started running towards the fight."
