Watch The Creepy Trailer For HBO's New Drama 'The Leftovers'

The Leftovers HBO show Justin Theroux

HBO has finally released the first teaser trailer for the network's new drama "The Leftovers," from "Lost" creator Damon Lidelof and Tom Perrotta, based on Perrotta's 2011 book of the same name.

Peter Berg directed the pilot, which stars Justin Theroux as a police chief and Liv Tyler as a woman being targeted by a cult.

All we know from the trailer is that 2% of the human population  140 million people  are suddenly, mysteriously gone.

While 2% of the population may not sound like a lot, the trailer explains that is:

  • More than the world's 10 largest cities combined
  • More than every death from every war in the 20th Century
  • If every one of those people joined hands, they would wrap around the world six times

"The Leftovers" premieres June 15. Watch the full teaser trailer below.

Here's The Fascinating Reason Bill Maher Still Plays Theaters In Small-Town America

Bill Maher

Every Friday night, Bill Maher hosts the HBO political talk show "Real Time with Bill Maher," which is watched by some 4.2 million people. Come Saturday, the comedian, who is reportedly worth more than $20 million, performs standup comedy in towns like Lincoln, Neb., and Greensboro, N.C.

Why would Maher, 58, spend his energy on such small-time gigs? He says it keeps him comedically fit.

"I don't know if I could do what I do as a talk show host if I wasn't in shape as a comedian," he says. "You see what people love when you're on stage; you see what just lights them up in a way that you can't on 'Real Time.'"

When talking about doing standup, Maher calls it a "craft" or a "hobby." He compares perfecting his routine to building a ship in a bottle or making violins — professions that take decades to master.

The craft is in "moving one word around, from the middle of the sentence to the end of the sentence," he says. "It's moving one joke that works pretty good over here, moving it behind this other joke, and now it's a giant laugh."

Maher calls this "tinkering," the process of getting the act just right. Like a musician, Maher brings a setlist of his performance on stage, sketching out sections and individual jokes to be delivered. The tinkering, then, is a matter of constantly shifting the setlist to find the ideal rhythm and delivery, all while introducing fresh material.

That's why when he's on a plane, in the back of a car, or sitting in a hotel room, you'll often find Maher with a yellow notepad in hand, taking notes on potential jokes.

Maher is in constant review, too. He tapes every standup performance. Once he gets off stage, he immediately looks at the film, like a quarterback studying the game tape. He searches for ad libs that fit into the routine, lines that did particularly well, and jokes with just the right delivery. Those highlights get transcribed and saved.

Then, when he gets home from a show, he takes his notes and edits them into his setlist. He keeps his current version of the set on his at-home computer, along with scripts he has of jokes that went off perfectly.

Getting good at comedy is a long process, Maher says. The early years are painful. You're just generic comedy to your audiences, and nobody knows who you are. He remembers feeling insulted when he stood on stage and got no laughs.

For the first 20 years, he didn't get a single standing ovation. But over the last 15, he's gotten one almost every performance.

"With live television, there's always an element of throwing shit at a wall and seeing what sticks," Maher says. "With standup, I get to perfectly shape something that's hopefully a mind-blowing experience for the audience that just came at them, wave after wave of intelligent, funny thoughts. And I think that's why they do stand at the end."

Socialite Peaches Geldof Dead At 25

Peaches Geldof

Peaches Geldof, a socialite, model, journalist, and TV personality, died on Monday at age 25, BBC News reported.

"At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and sudden," said a statement from Kent police.

Geldof was married to musician Thomas Cohen, with whom she had two sons, Astala, 1, and Phaedra, who turns 1 on April 24.

Geldof is the second daughter of Irish singer-songwriter, author, and political activist Bob Geldofand British TV presenter Paula Yates, who died of a drug overdose when Peaches was 11 years old.

"I remember the day my mother died and it's still hard to talk about it," she told Elle magazine in 2013. "I just blocked it out. I went to school the next day because my father's mentality was 'keep calm and carry on.'"

"So we all went to school and tried to act as if nothing had happened. But it had happened. I didn't grieve. I didn't cry at her funeral. I couldn't express anything because I was just numb to it all. I didn't start grieving for my mother properly until I was maybe 16."

Geldof's last post on Instagram and Twitter was of her late mother:

New 'Maleficent' Poster Looks Just Like Disney's Other Movie Ads

Last week, Disney released a colorful banner poster for its next big release, "Maleficent."

The film is a live-action re-telling of Disney's 1959 animated picture "Sleeping Beauty" from the point-of-view of the villainess played by Angelina Jolie.maleficent poster

When the banner poster was released, we couldn't help but be reminded of two very similar-looking triptychs — a poster divided into three sections — we've seen recently from the studio.

Here's Disney's poster for 2012's "Oz the Great and Powerful":
Oz The Great and Powerful triptych

Here's another for 2010's "Alice in Wonderland":
alice in wonderland triptych poster

Let's take a closer look, breaking down some of the posters' similar elements.

The most recognizable star power is placed front and center:

Add a castle in the background:malificent castlewonderland castleoz castle

Stick something dark and ominous in the top right corner.

thorns maleficentoz dark clouds balloon

Maybe add a waterfall.

cliff with water ozcliff with water ozWhat's with the similar ads?

Both films performed well at the box office.

"Oz the Great and Powerful" took in $493.3 million while "Alice in Wonderland" took in more than $1 billion, so it seems like it would make sense for Disney to continue its similar marketing strategy for its early-year releases.

However, there's a bigger connection between the "Alice in Wonderland" and "Oz" banners. Production designer Robert Stromberg worked on both films.

His next movie? You guessed it. "Maleficent."

Stromberg serves as director on the live-action flick.

How Tracey Wigfield Jumped From '30 Rock' Assistant To Emmy-Winning Comedy Writer

Tracey Wigfield Tina Fey Emmy AwardTracey Wigfield, 30, had the post-college trajectory most students only dream of.

After Wigfield graduated from Boston College in 2005 where she majored in theater, Tina Fey hired her as a writers' assistant on "30 Rock."

"I was like 23 or 24 years old and not super confident about my abilities at all," Wigfield told Refinery29, about being in the writers' room. "I was so in my head, I would think of a joke, and I would wait like 20 minutes and in my head [be] thinking, ‘Should I say it? Just say it! No, don’t say it!’ Then, I would finally come out with it, and either people would laugh or they wouldn’t."

Two years into the job, Wigfield heard the show was looking to hire a new staff writer and submitted a spec script she wrote for "The Office" to Tina Fey. "After I gave Tina that, she hired me right off the bat," Wigfield told R29 in their recent "New Power Players" feature.

She was even bumped up to producer for 13 episodes of "30 Rock" between 2012 and the show's final season in 2013.

This September, Wigfield won an Emmy alongside Fey for the final episode of "30 Rock," which the two co-wrote.

Despite the show being over, Wigfield learned valuable lessons from her mentor, Tina Fey.

"One thing that I learned from working with Tina was that everyone she hires for a show not only has to obviously be talented and creative and work really hard, but, most importantly, everyone she hires also has to be nice and respectful and kind," says Wigfield. "Tina really focuses on hiring good people that she trusts and who would respect each other."

After "30 Rock," Wigfield moved from New York to Los Angeles to take a job as a writer on "The Mindy Project," where she still works today.

"I got to start on the first season, and see it grow from its inception, and get to contribute to how the show looks and the kind of stories we tell," Wigfield says of the FOX comedy. "That’s been really cool and new for me."

But the biggest adjustment has been the dress code in the writers' room.

"You have to dress so much better with Mindy!" reveals Wigfield. "Tina is obviously so glamorous and beautiful, but when she was just coming in to work on a normal day, she would dress like myself or [how] any other writers I know dress — like a gym teacher ... But, Mindy is super into fashion. She’s super glam. And, I feel like she sort of expects her writers to step it up a little bit with how we dress."

As for whether Wigfield will follow in the footsteps of her famous female mentors, she says, "Yeah! If the opportunity came up, I would love to do what Mindy or Tina does and be a part of both worlds — behind the camera and in front of the camera. Acting and stand-up were so liberating for me when I first started writing, because such a big part of stand-up is just trying things out and failing."

Mercedes Benz G63 AMG 6X6 Jurassic ParkIt looks like Mercedes-Benz will, once again, do battle with Jurassic Park's mighty T-Rex.

According to a leaked photograph posted on "Jurassic Park 4"'s Facebook fan page, the newest installment of the blockbuster franchise is likely to feature the automaker's beastly G63 AMG 6x6.

The photo shows the truck strapped to a cargo pallet, hidden behind a white cargo cover. Though we are unable to see the vehicle's livery, the G63 6X6's menacing silhouette and piercing round headlamps are unmistakable.

The G63 6X6 is the latest and most extreme iteration of Mercedes' venerable Geländewagen, or G-Wagon. First produced in 1979, the G-Wagon is among the most versatile and iconic off-road vehicles of all time. It's at home in the mountains of the Afghanistan with the Marines and cruising Parisian boulevards as a fashion accessory.

The G-Wagon's rumored appearance in 2015's "Jurassic Park 4" will be Mercedes' second tour of duty against the film's CGI dinosaurs, coming a full 18 years after the company debuted its M-Class SUV in Steven Spielberg's 1997 "The Lost World: Jurassic Park."

Mercedes-Benz has yet to announce a price for the 6X6, but according to Motor Trend it will be in the neighborhood of $525,000

The 6X6 will be powered by AMG's handcrafted biturbo V-8 engine, which puts out a massive 544 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque.

All of the truck's power is routed through an AMG Speedshift Plus 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission.

Power will flow to all six wheels for unparalleled traction in even the most challenging of terrains.

'Duck Dynasty'-Endorsed Congressman Apologizes After Video Showing Him Kissing Staffer

Vance McAllister

Republican Louisiana Rep. Vance McAllister was previously best known for being endorsed by stars of A&E's "Duck Dynasty," but on Monday the married congressman made national headlines after the Ouachita Citizen newspaper published a video it described as showing him "passionately kissing and embracing a member of his congressional staff." McAllister subsequently released a statement to the newspaper apologizing and asking for "forgiveness."

"There's no doubt I've fallen short and I'm asking for forgiveness," McAllister said. "I'm asking for forgiveness from God, my wife, my kids, my staff, and my constituents who elected me to serve. Trust is something I know has to be earned whether your a husband, a father, or a congressman. I promise to do everything I can to earn back the trust of everyone I've disappointed."

McAllister was elected in November and said afterwards that having the endorsement of the reality television stars famed for their outspoken conservative views "didn't hurt." He brought "Duck Dynasty's" Willie Robertson as his guest to President Barack Obama's State of the Union address in January.

The Ouachita Citizen said it "obtained the video recording from an anonymous source" and that the "incident" in the clip "occurred at roughly 1:39 p.m. on Dec. 23, 2013, inside McAllister’s congressional office at 1900 Stubbs Ave., Suite B, in Monroe." According to the newspaper, the woman in the clip was McAllister's district scheduler, Melissa Peacock. The newspaper said Peacock is also married.

Neither McAllister's office or Peacock responded to requests for comments from Business Insider. However, in the statement he provided to the Ouachita Citizen, McAllister asked for privacy.

"From day one, I've always tried to be an honest man. I ran for congress to make a difference and not to just be another politician. I don't want to make a political statement on this, I would just simply like to say that I'm very sorry for what I've done," he said. "While I realize I serve the public, I would appreciate the privacy given to my children as we get through this."

The 11 Assistants Who Run Hollywood

$

Matt Harrell, Lindsay Lohan

Hollywood's bigwigs may seem completely put-together 24/7, but what we don't see on a day-to-day basis is the amount of work it takes to keep them on their game — and the folks who do it.

Personal assistants are responsible for keeping Hollywood's biggest names on time, on schedule, and on their A-games around the clock.

They book meetings, run errands, arrange for childcare, and anything else required to keep their bosses in check.

1. Olivia Zaro works for a famous talent agent.

Zaro started as an assistant for her famous talent-manager boss, Scooter Braun, who represents some of the biggest names in music like Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen. As an assistant, she was instrumental in keeping Braun efficient and making the day easier for him, her brother Alexander Zaro tells BI.

The Syracuse grad works hard to promote Braun's clients, but goes out of her way to also promote her sister, who is a musician herself. Zaro is particularly close with musician Asher Roth, who appears in many of her Instagram pictures.

After showing Braun loyalty for nearly two years, Zaro has since been promoted to A&R Music Supervision at Scooter Braun Projects.

2. Amanda Diedrich assists the longest-serving network entertainment chief.

Diedrich is a 10-year veteran of CBS Entertainment, and wrangles the chaos for chairwoman Nina Tassler.

Over the years, she rose up from office coordinator to assistant to the president, signing on as assistant to the chairman when Tassler was promoted in February. Her boss's tenure at CBS has included developing the hit "CSI" and "NCIS" franchises and green-lighting "How I Met Your Mother" and "The Big Bang Theory."

In her new position, Diedrich will have her hands in programming across primetime, daytime, and late night, as well as program development in all genres.

3. Angel has been George Clooney's right-hand woman for 20 years.

Women pass in and out of his life, but Hollywood's favorite bachelor can count on one woman: a "cheerful, red-haired woman in early middle age" who goes by the name Angel.

Clooney first met her when she assisted him and fellow "ER" cast member Noah Wyle in the '90s (Clooney won her over in the end).

Angel lives in a detached house on his Los Angeles property so she can assist at a moment's notice. She also frequently pops up in magazine profiles on Clooney.

'Godzilla' Reboot Origin Story Was Scrapped Because Of ‘Man Of Steel’

godzilla art of destruction book

Over the weekend, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures released a longer look at its “Godzilla” reboot.

Before the film comes to theaters this May, publisher Insight Editions will release a hardcover book, “Godzilla: The Art of Destruction,” which will deliver an inside look at the film’s production from start to finish.

The book will contain a bunch of concept art including sketches, storyboards and interviews with director Gareth Edwards along with cast and crew.

Insight Editions shared a few early spreads from the upcoming book with us.

The most interesting thing we've learned so far is that the new Godzilla could have had a different origin story had it not been for last year's Superman reboot.

According to the book, originally a "Godzilla carcass was to have been discovered entombed in Siberia."

That was changed after the production learned "Man of Steel" had a potentially similar scene with a spaceship.

The full spread, featuring the original concept art, was shared exclusively with Business Insider.

Feel free to zoom in and read it below. (If viewing on mobile, check out the corresponding links which each image.)

Here's a red control room that will be seen early on in the reboot. Filming took place there for two to three days but set decorator Elizabeth Wilcox says it took months to prepare.

Things Got Really Uncomfortable When Joy Behar Gave This Brutal Roast Of Chris Christie

Chris Christie Joy Behar

The New Yorker's Ryan Lizza has posted footage from comedian Joy Behar's awkward and uncomfortable roasting of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie last week.

In a lengthy piece on Christie published Monday morning, Lizza included details of the recent roast of former New Jersey Gov. Brendan Byrne. Behar, Lizza reported, focused much of her time on stage lampooning Christie. Her quips seemed to get under Christie's skin, and, at one point, he got up from his chair and even motioned as though he might take her cue cards.

Behar's first joke in the clip combined digs at both Christie's weight and the Bridgegate scandal.

"When I first heard that he was accused of blocking off three lanes on the bridge, I said, ‘What the hell is he doing, standing in the middle of the bridge?'" Behar said. Behar followed with another targeted at Christie's size. While Christie now had his eye on the White House, Behar said, "it used to be the House of Pancakes."

At that point, Christie interrupted her and joked it was supposed to be a "Byrne roast." After the two exchanged words, Behar told Christie to "stop bullying me" as he sat back down.

Christie and Behar continued their back-and-forth out of earshot, leading the comedian to say, "Why don’t you get up here at the microphone instead of being such a coward?"

Christie stood up and stepped to the podium. "Really, is that what you're thinking? At least I don't get paid for this," he said.

The video footage is grainy, but at this point, Lizza said, Behar was "noticeably rattled."

"I really don’t know about the presidency, after all," she said. "Let me put it to you this way, in a way that you’d appreciate. You’re toast."

She ended her routine by quipping that she didn't care how "pissed off" Christie was at her jokes, because she was "taking mass transit home."

This Former Movie Stuntman Lives On An Island By Himself [PHOTOS]

Pascal_and_Rex

After a high-flying career that saw movie stuntman Pascal Whelan work on some of Hollywood’s biggest movies, including "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" and "Live and Let Die," Whelan called it quits and headed off to virtually abandoned Omey Island off the coast of Ireland.

Whelan routinely hitchhikes off the island to a nearby pub on the mainland, and by chance, photographer Kevin Griffin picked him up one day. Griffin was intrigued by Whelan’s story, and it wasn’t long before Griffin decided he had to be the one to tell it.

Whelan and Griffin have since collaborated on "Omey Island: Last Man Standing," a new photo book. Griffin shared a number of the photos with us here, and you can check out the rest on his website.

Whalen grew up on Omey Island in the 1940s, when there were other families living there. The inhabitants lived self-sufficiently in cottages with thatched roofs, tending to small farms of vegetables and animals. When he became an adult, he moved to Australia, where he became a stuntman. He eventually started a "stunt show" and spent seven years touring Australia.

Bare_FeetAfter he grew tired of touring in Australia, Whelan moved back to Ireland, bought a mobile home, put it on the island, and started a stuntman school on the mainland.Eel_WatchingWhile Whelan was running the stuntman school, a friend of his was fatally injured during one of the shows. After that, Whelan abandoned his career and moved completely to the island.head_downWhelan told Business Insider he moved to the island because he spent his "happiest childhood moments" there. He calls it a spiritual "healing place." Everyone else on the island has long since moved away to more modern living situations, but Whelan loves the peaceful solitude. Kitchen_InteriorBecause the island is located only a mile off the shore, people can drive or walk to the island when the tide is low.

Omey_RacesTime the tide wrong and you could lose a car. He calls himself a "master tide-timer," but even he once lost two cars in one week.Jump_StartDuring the summer months, many people come for a day of relaxing or taking in the more gruesome sights on the island, like this beached whale.

Beached_WhaleDuring the winter, it can be dark on the island for 15 hours out of the day, because it is so stormy there. People rarely visit then.rainWhen Whelan was younger and healthier, he would spend the mornings on the island fishing for lobster or picking shellfish for dinner that night. These days, Whelan is far less active. Rowing_LessonWhelan used to maintain a robust vegetable garden. Now, he has a smaller one where he grows onions and carrots because they are "low maintenance."Tomato_PlantAround noon, Whelan drives or hitchhikes to a local pub on the mainland called Sweeney's. After a few pints of beer, Whelan heads back to the island.Orange_BicDespite his living situation, Whelan told the Independent he is "not a hermit, far from it." Omey Island is simply the only place that he wants to live.Scar

Funny Or Die CEO Explains What Hollywood Gets Wrong About Comedy

$

Obama and Galifianakis funny or die

The website Funny or Die has found a way to take one of the most hit-or-miss parts of the Internet — web video — and turn it into a brand that's reliably hilarious.

It's also consistently lucrative. Founded in 2007, the company's had eight-figure revenues since 2009 and been profitable since 2010.

As CEO Dick Glover explained to Business Insider, the site's success has come from marrying a low-cost, hands-off business model with Hollywood talent.

That combination has been baked into the company from the beginning. It began when Michael Kvamme, a would-be comedian, pitched the idea for a comedy site that would combine user-generated and celebrity-made content to his dad, Sequoia Capital partner Mark Kvamme. They then connected with comedians Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, who would become the site's co-founders.

But they still needed a "business guy" to run the thing. So they called Glover, who had launched ESPN.com, served as an executive at Disney, and run new media and broadcast for NASCAR. Under Glover's guidance, Funny or Die has weathered a financial crisis, landed an interview with the President, and gone way beyond the funny video roots.

Dick Glover Funny or Die CEO

We spoke with Glover about the evolution of the business, why he never gives notes on production, and how Funny or Die is becoming the new "Saturday Night Live."

The below interview has been condensed and edited.

Business Insider: How much have founders Will Ferrell and Adam McKay helped grow the site?

Dick Glover: Will and Adam founded the site to have a playground for themselves and their network to be able to do new things. To provide for others coming behind them what "Saturday Night Live," in many ways, had provided for them.

What we really try to maintain is a talent-friendly place to work. Creative drives the business; it’s not business drives creative.

Unlike the typical Hollywood model, where creative has something and 12 people weigh in and give notes. With us, it's what do you want to do, let's do it — no notes on what the final product should look like from management. I'm a suit, I'm not allowed. Over six years, I have not given a note on a piece of content. And I won't, because that's not what I do.

At Funny or Die, you can do things without risk and without interference, and you can do them really quickly. Get the video up in a week. Normally you can't get a meeting scheduled in a week in Hollywood.

What’s an example?

We had met with Justin Long and kicked around ideas. Simultaneously, the Steve Jobs movie with Ashton Kutcher was going to come out shortly, and the Steve Jobs movie written by Aaron Sorkin had been in the press.

We do fake movie trailers, so we thought maybe Justin Long, who had been in the Mac/PC ads, maybe we could do a fake trailer. Then: Why don't we do a whole movie?

We wrote the script over the weekend, got Justin Long all lined up, the rest of the cast, shot it in two or three days — we're not doing a $100 million movie here to say the least. It was up on the site within 10 days of the first meeting. We promoted it as the first Steve Jobs movie.

That movie was made literally for tens of thousands of dollars. Up on the site in ten days. The advertising impressions created were a million-something views on the site, more than paid for the movie. So, in essence, the movie is profitable. Then we sold it to Netflix for a very nice figure.

It’s a great example of our business model: keep the cost of content low, keep the cost of marketing low — because we have our own social media ecosystem — and be agnostic as to the distribution.

The Ashton Kutcher movie, I don't know how much it cost to make, but I guarantee they lost money on that. For us, it's almost a no-lose proposition, in terms of the economics.

So what is the business model for Funny or Die?

When Funny or Die was born, the basic tenets were to marry user-generated content, which was all the rage at the time, with some A-level talent, all with some form of self-editing mechanism — hence the voting.

We’ve also had the huge social media following, since we started when social media was in its infancy. Because of social, we can talk to millions and millions of people per day and keep marketing costs low.

To keep the cost of talent low, the idea was to make the A-list talent equity partners, as opposed to the standard work for hire, so their success was tied to the success of the company. To keep the cost of marketing low, you had the A-list to attract all the eyeballs and then the user-generated content. With the voting, we solved one of the problems of user-generated content — ‘how do I find the good stuff?’

The first thing to launch was Funny or Die with "The Landlord" (now with 81 million views) and some other videos. Will and Adam were totally invested in the company, so it worked.

And then what happened?

We thought, let's replicate this. We're going to be the Viacom of the Internet. We'll do Shred or Die with action sports, and Tony Hawk was the equity partner, we did Eat Drink or Die with food, with Tom Colicchio of "Top Chef" as a partner. We did a thing called Pwn or Die with the video gaming business, with Johnathan Wendel one of the first professional gamers.

Then a few things happened, the biggest of which was the whole market collapsed at the end of 2008. We also realized that while our model was right, it didn’t work with every genre.

I remember Sequoia brought all their CEOs for a presentation — the first slide was a tombstone reading "rest-in-peace good times." They talked about managing through a severe downturn, we were into a severe downturn. They said, you will never see another penny, so you better have an absolute path to profitability, you better have a competitive advantage, and you better cut to the bone.

So we stopped everything we were doing, we cut something like 30% of cost out of the company, but actually put more money into comedy. If you looked at what Funny or Die the property was getting, it was actually getting more resources. If you look at what we called Or Die Networks, it had been slashed.

But from that day in early 2009, we've been up and to the right on every single metric.

Having President Obama on "Between Two Ferns," the interview show with "Hangover" star Zach Galifianakis, injected Funny or Die into the mainstream conversation. Who's next?

We like joking around that Putin would be a challenge. With Obama, putting aside the wow factor of talking with the President, the video accomplished with goals — it got signups for the Affordable Care Act. It actually worked. That's the message we want to send, that we are a great vehicle for reaching this relatively tough-to-reach young audience. And we can do that with any talent in the world.

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian and her famous family vacationed in Thailand last week, posting tons of photos and videos documenting their luxurious travels.

But Kim's epic elephant selfie fail wasn't her only photo blunder of the trip. It turns out that in addition to the reality star's sexy videos and pics with her sisters, she has also been taking scenic photographs of Thailand straight off Google Images and passing them off as her own.

Kardashian posted the below photo last week with the caption, “Thank you for the beautiful memories Thailand." It currently has nearly 600,000 "likes."

But fans quickly noticed that the image was a popular one pulled from Google. It's among the first that show up when you search "Thailand Beach."

Kim's latest post, below of cherry blossoms, isn't even of Thailand at all! In fact, the photo is titled "The Most Beautiful Cherry Blossoms of Japan" and comes from Imgur.Kim Kardashian instagram

Chris Sprigman, a law professor at University of Virgina who specializes in intellectual property law, tells Business Insider that Kardashian should probably be more careful next time she blindly grabs an image online.

While Sprigman says, "Looking at the website where she got the image, it's impossible to tell if there's a claim of copyright in the image and whether she's authorized to download it," he further explains, "There's a lot of stuff available on the web that's copyrighted and you just can't assume that because an image is on the web that it's free for you to use."

'Game Of Thrones' Renewed For Two More Seasons

Hit HBO television show "Games of Thrones" was renewed for two more seasons Tuesday, two days after its latest series opened with a bang that crashed the broadcaster's online app.

Sunday's fourth season debut drew 6.6 million viewers, the most for the pay-channel since the finale of HBO cult hit "The Sopranos" was watched by 11.9 million people in 2007, the broadcaster said.

"'Game of Thrones' is a phenomenon like no other," said HBO Programming boss Michael Lombardo, announcing that HBO had renewed it for a fifth and sixth season.

Its creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss "along with their talented collaborators, continue to surpass themselves, and we look forward to more of their dazzling storytelling," he said.

HBO Go, an online app that allows viewers to watch shows any time, crashed Sunday as tens of thousands tried to log on to watch the show, which provides a jaw-dropping mix of sex, violence and vengeance.

Since its debut in 2011, the HBO drama based on George R.R. Martin's best-selling novels about a struggle for power between feuding clans in seven mythical kingdoms has won a devoted global fan base -- President Barack Obama reportedly among them -- to establish itself as the star of the US cable channel's stable.

The series has wowed critics with its densely-layered plot, lavish production values and a readiness to kill off, invariably in gruesome fashion, protagonists who had hitherto seemed integral to the show.

Four words -- "No one is safe" -- have become the unofficial catchphrase for devotees of the series. Guessing which character may soon meet his or her maker is all part of the fun.

An infamously bloody episode in Season 3, involving a massacre at a wedding party, was one of the most talked about and tweeted television events of 2013.

YouTube videos capturing the shock of unsuspecting viewers watching as the on-screen slaughter unfolded rapidly went viral.

All the signs are that fans of the show will not be disappointed by the 10-episode Season 4, which debuted in the US on Sunday before being screened in different markets worldwide over the following days and weeks.
